Would not recommend Aside from an online catalogue that is completely out of date, the moniker 'always fast, always friendly' was a bit of a misnomer; considering my init Aside from an online catalogue that is completely out of date, the moniker 'always fast, always friendly' was a bit of a misnomer; considering my initial visit lasted 6 hours to look at one car, involving multiple prolonged periods of waiting. When I came back to get my car after waiting a week for simple maintenance repairs, the work had not been completed [yet Lugoff Ford intended to release the vehicle to me anyway]. During attempts to contact the dealership I received horrible follow up service, on multiple occasions being told I would be called back only to have to call back myself hours later. After waiting another week to have the work on the car done [again, with no feedback or follow-up from Lugoff Ford that wasn't pried] I arrived to find part of the work still hadn't been completed, because the shop manager 'refused' to do it - despite a written agreement at the point of sale indicating the work would be done. In addition to refusing to perform the service agreed to, the car was damaged in while under the care of Lugoff Ford and they refused to repair the damage due to ‘having spent too much money on the sale of a used car already’. How exactly that justification is made is beyond me - when work was agreed upon at the point of sale and damage was caused while under care of the dealership. Additionally, I requested to have my tags transferred when I purchased my vehicle, but Lugoff Ford neglected to remove the plates from my trade-in when sent to auction, which means I have to schedule a visit to the DMV now. The loaner vehicles offered during the time my car was in the shop were nice; but, unfortunately they practice a ‘finders keepers’ rather than a lost and found policy. I suppose it’s my fault for possibly leaving items in the vehicle, but I would still expect more from any customer based Service Industry Company. I am incredibly dissatisfied with the service provided, and would strongly recommend interested buyers look elsewhere. More

Ryan Ashley did a commendable job showing us a couple of different vehicles over 3 visits. He is extremely polite and very knowledgeable about the various vehicles. We settled on a 2014 Escape and Ryan cont different vehicles over 3 visits. He is extremely polite and very knowledgeable about the various vehicles. We settled on a 2014 Escape and Ryan contacted us with one equipped exactly how we wanted. All in all this part of the purchase phase was pleasurable. From this point on the experience went downhill. There seemed to be confusion organizing the paperwork and getting the final steps in order. We were comfortable that we got a good price on the vehicle. We arrived at the dealer at 3pm and it was nearly 7 pm before we got to see the business manager for the closing. This gentleman was extremely condescending towards us. His attitude seemed to us to be that he knew what was best for us as if we didn't have a clue. We were tired and hungry and even though we told him we had no interest in the service and extended warranty plans he pestered us and insinuated that we were crazy not to take it. It was as if he were in charge of the purchase and not us. I have purchased my 2 previous vehicles through internet sales managers and the entire process took less than an hour in a dealership each time without being berated by a finance guy. This ruined the whole experience and we feel railroaded into stuff we had no intention on getting. The Escape is a great vehicle. More
I bought my 2012 f-150 new from Lugoff ford and have had nothing but problems since. It was not disclosed that the truck had 2000 miles on it when I bought it. They informed me that the warranty starts whe nothing but problems since. It was not disclosed that the truck had 2000 miles on it when I bought it. They informed me that the warranty starts when I purchased the truck. That is only partially true, the mileage still counts against the warranty according to Ford. Lugoff Ford lied to me and said that the mileage would be extended to 38k since I bought the truck had 2000 on it. That is flat out not true. There was a ding in my truck that I did not notice until I got it home. I spoke with Lugoff Ford multiple times about it and yet nothing has been done, nor have they tried to contact me about it. They did call me trying to get me to sell my truck to Lugoff Ford and buy another new one though. I had warranty work done on my truck and made a complaint about the truck jerking when accelerating initially from a stand still. They told me that it was my driving habits causing the adaptive transmission to exhibit this behavior and that I should change my driving habits. Turns out that there is a TSB for this problem that is caused by a lack of lubrication to the driveshaft. Maybe if they cared enough to drive it or investigate at all, the problem would have been fixed easily. After warranty work was accomplished, I heard a dragging noise while driving. It was the piece under the motor that protects components underneath the truck. They did not secure it at all with the zeus fasteners and apparently did not check it. I went in to get the areas that the work was performed inspected as requested by the service manager, however there was not a single service person to be found and they did not answer the dealership wide page. They have managed to get some portion of my truck dirty every time it has had service at Lugoff Ford. Dealerships that I have gone to in the past have sent my vehicles back to me better than I dropped it off. Not Lugoff Ford! Not only will they not accomplish the work properly, but they will make a mess while doing so. They do not accomplish all work according to the TSBs. They failed to reprogram my truck after accomplishing the intercooler TSB. My truck has been in the shop there 3 times for the same problem. Today, I am going elsewhere. More
