Worst experience ever! Our family recently purchased a Certified Pre-owned vehicle from a Chevy Dealer in Gloucester, VA. We were reluctant to buy a vehicle 50 miles away f Our family recently purchased a Certified Pre-owned vehicle from a Chevy Dealer in Gloucester, VA. We were reluctant to buy a vehicle 50 miles away from our home but decided to since it was advertised as a Certified Pre-Owned Chevy, which carried a 12k mile bumper to bumper warranty. Four days after we purchased, the sunroof got stuck in the open position just as a rainstorm was approaching. Thankfully we were able to make it to our local Chevy Dealer just before they closed. (Holiday Chevrolet, Williamsburg, VA) Holiday pulled the vehicle into their service bay to protect from the rain. A week later Holiday Chevrolet diagnosed the issue as a bad sunroof motor and said this would not be covered under our12k mile bumper to bumper warranty. As you can imagine, I was frustrated that this would not be covered on a vehicle we just purchased, with a bumper-to-bumper Certified Pre-owned warranty. I spoke with the service manager, Robert , who stated if we had purchased the car from them, they would cover the sunroof motor. I called the dealer we purchased the vehicle from and explained the situation. They pulled the labor codes for replacing the sunroof motor and advised it should be covered under the warranty and that Holiday only needed tor run through the Certified Pre-owned warranty system. I again spoke with Robert, the service manage at Holiday Chevrolet, who advised me he would not call GM nor run through the system. He made it very clear there was nothing he would or could do. Either I pay out of pocket to have the sunroof motor replaced ($900) or I could take the vehicle back to the dealer I purchased from. Also he would charge me $100 diagnosis fee if I did not let them do the work. This has been the worst customer service I have ever received from a family owned company. I can assure you that I will never purchase anything nor utilize the service from Holiday. Everyone BEWARE! More
If you need help look elsewhere I needed a flat tire checked on a Saturday with 30 minutes left till closing. I have road hazard purchased when I bought the truck new. The service manager immediately made excuses "too busy, tire guy wasn't available, and he would have to validate my claim" I had the rim and tire off the truck already I just needed the to hole. Then a younger guy literally locked me inside 30 minutes prior to posted closing time. I am thankful I have a dealer in Hampton that helped me out no questions. I guess when your in Williamsburg you can pick an choose who to help and when. I have been purchasing Chevy trucks for over 20 years I will never even consider this dealership to purchase or service any vehicle for me. Thanks for merchants tire down the street for finding the hole and helping me out. More
Excellent Service Department. I am new to the area and my 2003 Lincoln Town Car was in need of service. After reading yelp and doing further research I decided that I would not tak I am new to the area and my 2003 Lincoln Town Car was in need of service. After reading yelp and doing further research I decided that I would not take my vehicle to the local Ford dealership.(They have 1 1/2 stars on yelp) I contacted Holiday Cadillac on Saturday and I brought my vehicle in on the following Tuesday. I wanted an oil and filter change and the rear shocks replaced. Lexis Harrell in the service department was very professional and friendly. She made the whole process very easy. The work that was performed was excellent and they washed and vacuumed my car. This is where I will be taking all of my vehicles in the future. Great Job! More
I went to this dealership 4 years ago, just looking. Within a few hours I left with a new car.
