Mrs. Miller – We disagree with the details of your review. As we discussed over the phone, there are several inaccuracies and exaggerations in what you have stated. We will always go overboard to take care of customer concerns, regardless of how significant, when they are presented to us in a tactful & truthful manner. We have addressed the one actual concern with the vehicle, which was brought to our attention weeks after the purchase. Although, the USB port has clearly been damaged as a result of something being spilled, we are taking care of that out of goodwill. We will never agree to a customer’s proposal to remove a negative review in exchange for an inflated trade value or to purchase a vehicle back. This goes against what we value most --- ethical business practices. It is very concerning that a consumer would resort to such tactics in an effort to gain unwarranted compensation.

With all due respect. I understand your unwillingness to agree to my retailing of the situation. Per our phone conversation we explained that we were under the impression there were more issues then the USB port not working. I understand that the manufacturer recall is not your responsibility see my original review to notice I did not dwell on it. From my understanding of the situation we were not communicated to. We were told different things by different people. As for me writing the review. In no way did I intend you take it as a bribe, or as an exchange tactic to get an inflated trade in price. My original understanding a month ago was that we were offered a complete pay off and trade in of the vehicle. Now that we have chosen to do that the offer no longer stands. When you mentioned that the review was upsetting to you I did offer to remove my Facebook post if we could come to a mutual agreement. However I do not feel that I have been treated fairly as a consumer and long term customer of long Lewis. Personally I feel that my requests for a complete trade in are not unwarranted compensation. I do apologize for any miscommunication on mine or Caleb’s part.
