"Bait & Switch" I called about a Nissan Leaf SV, "Used "in Inventory. I asked Bill if it was still in Stock? "Bill Simons, assured me it was there for "SALE" ! I to I called about a Nissan Leaf SV, "Used "in Inventory. I asked Bill if it was still in Stock? "Bill Simons, assured me it was there for "SALE" ! I told him what I had to trade, 2013 Toyota Camry Hybrid LE. Bill said, "Mr. Swann come on down, and we'll see what we can work out !" I sat and waited in Office for 30 minutes! Finally, a salesman came up and identified himself to me, "Bill". We spent another 35 minutes looking for the CAR! He would go back inside and get different keys, hit the panic button claiming to be looking for CAR? The Dealership is in total CHAOS, with CARS in FOUR different lots because of building new Dealership Building! Finally, Bill took me to a lot across the street where there were four Nissan Leafs. All we looked at were S-Models, and no used model they had listed for sale, LEAF SV? Finally, I asked Bill, "Is this the old Bait & Switch ?" Bill said, "My General Manager, said, "Sell that Old Man an S Model, they are all the same and he won't know the difference !" First, Bill said, " The car was sold yesterday !" I said, "Bill you told me to come on down today because the CAR was there still FOR SALE!" Bill said, "I have to do what the General Manager tells me or lose my JOB! We went back across the street to the Temporary Dealership Building. The General Manager was waiting! He introduced himself as the General Manager! He said, Mr. Swann why don't you buy the Nissan Leaf S, they are all the same! I know because I order them! "I said Sir, they are not all the same, the S is the base model, the SV is the next model, and SL is the Premium Model !" "I came to buy a used SV that's not in stock! The GM said,"Mr.Swann, obviously you are confused! He laughed !" I said, " We are done, I'm going home !" The GM laughed again and I went home to New Port Richey. You see, I am a 100% Disabled Vietnam Veteran and CW4, MC, USA Ret.! So many good men died in Vietnam so you could be a wise guy and treat customers like me as a confused stupid old man! Someday you will have to account the way you treat people! The word you have forgotten or never heard of, is Integrity, "Doing the Right Thing!" I feel Bill did nothing wrong, just following your "Piss Poor Leadership!" Sometimes you have to cut off the Snakes Head to save the day! More
What a waste of my time. Bait and Switch advertising. I should have known it was too good to be true. Lokey's "new" advertising (Cars.com). I was looking at a new Rogue, they had it listed as, "New 2017 I should have known it was too good to be true. Lokey's "new" advertising (Cars.com). I was looking at a new Rogue, they had it listed as, "New 2017 Nissan Rogue SV $18,850 MSRP $31,200... That's right. OVER $12,000.00 OFF MSRP STICKER PRICE!!! Then when you get inside to inquire, they have you fill out this "form" that shows what rebates you "qualify" for...Needless to say, 95% of the people out there only qualify for 1 or 2 rebates. Instead of saving over $12,000.00 off sticker, it's more like $2200.00. When I expressed my displeasure, they told me they have no control over it, it's a new "advertising" company they are using, and they do all the advertised pricing. I ended up driving to Lakeland, FL to Jenkins Nissan. They saved me over $7000.00 on the same vehicle! Don't waste your time with Lokey Nissan the way I did. There are better deals out there on new Nissans...just not at this dealership. More
Avoid this dealer at all costs!! I would give this dealer zero stars if I could. I've waited a few days to write my review to make sure I wasn't just speaking in anger. This dealer had the 2016 Murano Platinum listed on their website for just under 32k. I had a trade that was paid off and Blue Book trade in was about 19k. I told the dealer I was working with about 15 to 17k out the door and based on the Internet price and my trade value, it should have been a no Brainer on the dealers part. I live in Jacksonville, and this dealer is quite far from me, so naturally, I was trying to firm up numbers before driving down for pick up. The Internet sales manager, Angelo, kept giving me one excuse after another as to why the numbers were not ready. I ended up driving down thinking the deal was a sure thing, when in reality, he knew he wasn't going to work with my numbers. When I got there, he brought me a paper saying I needed to pay 21k for the new Murano. On the paper, the vehicle was listed at 44k. I brought up the Internet sale price (which as the Internet sales manager, I would have expected him to know already). He made up some crap about how I didn't qualify for the recent graduate rebate or the military rebate. Here's the thing, I was already working with another dealer and had a deal with them, so I know those rebates are worth 700 and 500. That's 1200 dollars total, so that doesn't explain the 6k difference. At that point, I told him I had a deal worked out with another dealer for 17k. He then asked if it was the same platinum. I said yes. Then he asked if it had the advanced technology package. I said yes. Then he asked if it had the panoramic moonroof. At this point, I was baffled because the advanced technology package includes the moonroof (another thing he should know). Long story short, I am not a dummy. I did my research and his typical salesmen bull wasn't going to work on me. After driving 4 hours to get there, I was there for less than 20 mins and walked out without a car. I went to the other dealer the next day and got my new car for the deal they promised me. If you know anything about mythology, it's no wonder this place is called "Lokey" because they are shady. Do yourself a favor and do some research. Once that is done, avoid this dealer. More

I was told I would have to call back the following day. I left a message for John to call me and no call. After, my recall I would not use your service department for anything. It's true how bad your service really is. More

I have bought several cars in the past and enjoy the car buy DO NOT GO TO LOKEY NISSAN! This was the worst experience I've ever had with any business. I have bought several cars in the past and enjoy the car buying experience, but this turned out to be the worst nightmare with the worst service possible. I found a "good deal" online and called in the morning to ensure that the car was available and that I qualified for all applicable rebates for that price and there would only be standard taxes and fees on top of that. Once I arrive to the dealership, I see that they are doing a major renovation and have placed the sales office in a trailer. So I meet ANGELO, the sales associate I spoke with over the phone that morning, and he remembers exactly the car I'm looking for so he says he will get the keys and be right back. One hour later (no exaggeration), he frantically comes back and says that the car is in a holding lot 45 minutes north. Angelo says he's embarrassed because he knows I drove from Orlando to Clearwater to buy that specific car. Regardless of this, I still give the dealership a chance and agree to talking numbers to see if the car should be transported if I buy it. Then Angelo proceeds to show us a list price that's $4,000 higher than the price I agreed with him over the phone. He goes on to say that the price online is with all qualifying rebates and before the DEALER ADDENDUM of $2,000. I immediately ask for a manager. The sales manager, MIGUEL, tries to do the typical dealership runaround of how much I want to pay per month. I instantly call his b.s. and tell him I came for the price I confirmed with over the phone, and that mandatory dealer installation fees are false advertisement and means for legal action against the dealership. At this point, the GSM, BRENT TANSY, steps in and tries to resolve the situation. He continued to lower the price to try and save the sale and reduce escalation, but I told him that no matter what the price is, I wouldn't buy a car from LOKEY NISSAN because of its wrongful business practices. He continues to say that Lokey is the best selling car dealer on the coast, so I ask him if they achieve that morally and thru honest business practices. His reaction was my confirmation that Lokey is built on the foundation of greed, sleaziness, and inconsideration. There are better places you can go to buy a car, DO NOT TRUST Lokey. More
