SERVICE IS COMPLETE SCAM Purchased brand new 2012 Maxima in 2012. 5 years later and 83,000 miles later we literally had the car towed off the lot on 7/18/2017 because the 2nd Purchased brand new 2012 Maxima in 2012. 5 years later and 83,000 miles later we literally had the car towed off the lot on 7/18/2017 because the 2nd set of "new tires" from 4/2016 and 1 replaced in June 2017 were not only worn and wobble but one was about to explode making it not suitable for driving conditions. Lokey did not feel obligated or responsible to address why the tires MFG Dates were 4-5 years old or why the 2nd set of "new" tires had issues within 5 months of mounting. The car was towed away from the facility after refusal of a refund or "obligation only to warranty" the one tire on the verge of explosion. As if the tire situation isn't BAD enough July AND September 2015 complaints were noted about the dashboard not working and there being no lights. Lokey Nissan Quoted almost $2,000 in repairs to fix the issue but after one of their "FREE" oil changes in March/April 2017 (almost 2 years later) they discovered the DIMMER SWITCH WAS OFF!!! Mind you we actually got pulled over in April 2016 for speeding and was given a "warning" to get it fixed and it was nothing more than turning the little knob! Every 3 months for 5 years almost every service record notes poor driving conditions and the tires only get a discussion until they out of warranty/partial credit for tires that have been driven on for 12-15 months and barely 20,000 miles. Again, the car was towed away because Lokey Nissan and I quote from the Service Manager "they didn't break any laws and they weren't obligated to do anything other than replace the one tire that was falling apart" and in regards to the questionable DOT MFG Date their "Nissan Approved Tire Vendor in Tampa is not required to stock anything MFG past 2013." It's seems that over and over they sucked money out for every other repair or at least tried too only to leave the driver in multiple unsafe driving situations not only for them but all the other people on the road. Uber rides, tow trucks, lost time from work PLUS THIS MAXIMA - in 5 years - 83,000 miles has literally burned through 4 sets of tires!!?!??! All we wanted was a refund for the 2nd set of tires from 4/2016 to just go buy tires from somewhere else!! But hey - according to the service Mgr - "not their problem".....so now we have to save tires, collect documentation, and consider other avenues to just make sure we don't kill ourselves or someone else with crappy wobble blownout tires!! THERE IS NOTHING "FREE" ABOUT THEIR OIL CHANGES AND BASED ON DOCUMENTED SERVICE RECORDS AND DESTROYED TIRES -- it will cost you a lot more to do business with them than a $25 oil change but hey "let's hope it's not a human life" that has to pay!! If you own a Nissan in this area just drive to Crown in St Pete or Courtsey in Tampa - hands down you won't have service issues/scams like Lokey! John Johnson was at least very polite in saying "screw you and good luck" and the service department is very pretty - sales must be good! More

Scam and lies I agree with both of the other reviews. I spoke to Kevin on the phone about a 2016 Nissan murano listed at 31,000 and I called because I was surprised I agree with both of the other reviews. I spoke to Kevin on the phone about a 2016 Nissan murano listed at 31,000 and I called because I was surprised and he said yes that was the price. Long story short, it was also a demo for a year but he sold it to me as "new" on the paper work. When all was said and done he had said I would be getting $10,000 in rebates and the car would be 39,000.... do the math. He had never told me the actual sticker price was 46,000, but had written on the paper work that it was 40,000 and I was getting 4,000 off , in other words would have been 10,000 off of 46,000 to equal 36,000. Add in all the taxes and fees and "dealership fees" and it was a grand total of 39,000. On top of that they talked me into 2 additional warranties at approx. 4,000$. After speaking to numerous people I was convinced it was all a scam and I did not need the warranties so I went in to sign a cancellation paper 6 days later. They assured me they would send it out and I would have a refund in 2-3 weeks. This was beginning of January. I had to call and email the dealership MULTIPLE times to ask if it was sent out and again I was assured it was. It wasn't until end of April that I called the fidelity company that would be issuing my refund and they told me they had just received my cancellation paper work 2 days prior. Good thing I saved a copy of the original showing that I did in fact cancel the warranty with in 30 days of purchase because I truely believe the dealership was intentionally holding on or "misplacing" the paperwork so it would void my cancellation being past 30 days. If I didn't love my car so much I would have taken it back and NEVER done business with these shady people at this horrible dealership. Oh they also told me they would detail the car for me while I was singing all the paper work, It was never detailed. More
My 1st BRAND NEW car :) I'm so happy I bought my car from here!! I had previously owned a 2013 Nissan Sentra Fe+S from Maus Nissan (formerly New Port Richey Nissan) that was continuously having problems. Honestly, I don't believe I bought a good car from there. I was constantly having transmission issues that the Service department brushed off and I was also promised 2 years of oil changes and got one; so lesson learned. More of the reason though, that I love that I found Lokey! Lifetime oil changes to start - it really does save money especially if you're ever in a tight spot and depend on your car like I do. Lokey gave me the BEST price, found EXACTLY what I wanted, and didn't give me that typical "car sales" experience. Kevin Bashaw was my salesperson and I greatly thank him for taking the time to find my wonderful brand new Sentra. Kevin was patient, kind, and extremely helpful. He didn't get upset when I asked detailed questions about the car and made sure I was happy with the car, before signing anything. Thanks Kevin! You are such a great asset to Lokey and i'm so grateful we found my Sentra!! Happy to become a part of the family. #NissanNation #SentraNation More

Amazing experience Have dealt with quite a few dealerships in the past and honestly I would have to put this at number 1!! Even though I know the owners of those. The REAL cost Firstly, these people are super nice – Especially Brent the sales manager. But I want to tell others the REAL experience and what it’ll actually cost Firstly, these people are super nice – Especially Brent the sales manager. But I want to tell others the REAL experience and what it’ll actually cost you. When we sat down to buy the car the very “nice” sales manager, Brent, assumed we never had access to the internet price and right out of the gate tried to negotiate from the sticker price. Seriously??? Did we look like cave people who didn’t have access to cell phones? Who DOESN’T check internet prices on brand new vehicles these days? Anyhow, the car sticker was $10,000 more than the internet price. We were willing to pay the FULL asking internet price – no haggling - but came to find out that the internet price is just bait. We had assumed that we already had the usual tiny print qualifications – an 800+ credit score, a super quality trade in and we were willing to do NMAC initial financing with money down to qualify for the rebates (like we did for our 2015 Nissan truck at Courtesy Nissan). But it was a trick at THIS dealership. It turns out you have to “qualify” for a ridiculous series of questions such as: purchase a NEW Nissan within 24 months (we have a 2015 purchased 28 months ago), be ACTIVE military (my husband is a Gulf War Vet) AND be a college GRADUATE within – yes – I said WITHIN the last two years. We are forty-somethings so college was more than a little while ago for us. But the idea, of course, is that very few people will qualify for this list of unrealistic “qualifications”. Courtesy Nissan sold us a new truck two years ago based on excellent credit, financing with NMAC and putting $3000 down. We got the advertised internet price, no games. Unfortunately, they didn’t have any new 370 Z’s today. Bottom line: If you want to do business with Lokey be prepared to haggle for a couple hundred dollars less than the sticker price on the car while these really nice people wad it up and try to cram it up your blank. If you like the typically miserable sales experience of being tricked and lied to by smiling salesmen then Lokey is the place for you to spend your day – and your money. Just don’t look at your cell phone’s fake internet price first. More
