We were from out if town when our newer sonata would not start and towed into this dealership on a Saturday morning. They would not even look at it until the following Tuesday morning despite what appeared start and towed into this dealership on a Saturday morning. They would not even look at it until the following Tuesday morning despite what appeared to be a minor issue. We could not wait and had to be on the road to get home to socal asap. They wouldn't even give us a time frame indicating they needed time to diagnose, order parts then repair. We got home Monday night and got a call the following morning indicating the car was ready for pick up. Diagnosed as a loose "N" nut on the starter which took less than 5 minutes to repair. A waste of our time and money to get rental to get home and for Hyundai to ship the car back to us in socal when it could have been fixed the day we brought it in IF they went the extra step to just even look at the problem, as we asked, when towed in. Service writer did not even care about the position we were in to get home. More
Great at nut and shell game players. My used $ 19,000 dollar car that I put $10,000 down on, and I still owe $16,000 dollars. That’s $26,000 dollars total for a $19.000 dollar car. Don’t get the prep work as Tom told me,it’s not free. Funny part the bird crap the closer pointed out in the passenger side door was still there when I got home after they said they preped it. The broken front bumper under dude not mentioned either and blew me off. Not counting the financing or any warranty. I’m one stupid old man. could go in but they all had a good laugh on the 23 of December. Don’t even feel like driving car, 6 weeks only 200 miles. So much for a happy December 23. I even told the Closer Tom at 74 I’d be lucky to live to pay it off, his reply then won’t have to worry about payments. Asked for card next day after sake. Told me he was the boss and didn’t need them and brushed me off. Oh well stupid me.. More
