Buy the vehicle and then not valued afterwards My initial experience was good when I went to the dealership. There was an initial follow-up within one week of me getting the vehicle. I also had to submit forms to transfer title of previous vehicle I traded in under my parents name to change it to the new vehicle under ownership of myself which I did days after getting the vehicle. Immediately following this one week there was minimal communication with my finance manager who left me with minimal information upon leaving the dealership about when I would get my registration and when the finanical institution that was financing my loan would be in contact with me. I would continue to call and email him maybe once or twice a week (not incessantly nor inappropriately) but would not get a response back. Since initial purchasing of my vehicle (just over a month ago) he has since called me maybe twice to verify something that should have already been verified regarding who owned my previous vehicle which I had already stated and submitted forms showing that it was my parents, so I am unsure if the paperwork is even submitted and my payment is due in two weeks and I still have got nothing regarding information regarding this payment. In addition, my maintenance oil light/filter as well as tire maintenance light came on around 2 weeks in after getting the vehicle, which baffled me since my sales associate went over the carfax report stating that oil and filter were replaced as well as tires received maintenance, plus I did start hearing a slight screeching from my one tire which sounds like a ball-bearing loose which again appeared to reveal itself soon after I purchased the vehicle. I then called the dealership again to ask about this and as usual it was like pulling teeth to actually get a hold of somebody, after multiple attempts t/o one day I finally got a hold of a sales associate (not the one that sold me the vehicle) and explained this problem he was very understanding and stated that he would let my sales associate know and he would call me back regarding this and of course never did. After the first follow up a couple days after buying my vehicle I did not hear from my sales associate again and I had tried to reach him before this most recent attempt. I did reset my maintenance light so maybe they had just forgot to reset it however it is the principle of this lack of communication and lack of concern other matters such as these. Needless to say I would not at all recommend this dealership to anyone who wants to have care following purchase of a vehicle. ***I am not someone to complain easily and consider myself a very patient individual and also if something happened to my vehicle a few months out, etc I would not come calling to complain but it was less than 2 weeks when the maintenance lights and ball bearing issue happened. But since I have been left in the dark since after buying my vehicle and the lack of communication and care regarding my legitimate concerns seems of no importance to the staff at Lindsay Ford Dealership, I am very disappointed overall with my experience with this dealership, again I am not a complainer and I am a patient individual so me taking the time to write all of this does really say something. More
