I recently visited Lexus of Wesley Chapel looking for a new car. Jim greeted me with a big smile and was so friendly. He listened as I explained in detail what I wanted. Although they did not have any new, he didn't try to pressure me into used or something I did not want instead he told me when what I wanted would be in. Having done lots of research, I had lots of questions i needed answering before placing a deposit. I appreciate that if Jim did not know the answer, he didn't guess instead he asked for help. This is when I was introduced to Tim. Game changer. Tim was amazing, he answered all my questions, and was very patient. Tim talks about Lexus with such passion, you could tell this was his calling. When my car finally came in, Tim took me on my test drive and explained all the many features, downloaded the app and showed me all the bell and whistles how to use them, and there are ALOT. Many would think this would be the end, not so. Tim knew this was a process and said if I ever had a question call. I did, not knowing it was he day off, and just as he promised he answered, walked me through what I needed help with, never rushing. I went on a Sunday around 3pm. The first person I talked to was Tim Smith. I told him I have been looking to buy a Lexus for about 14 months. So I have done my research on where to go to buy. I did have my reluctance of going into a dealership, usually had a bad and pressured to buy experience in the past. Forcing items on you to buy, a car you really don't want and so forth. That was not the case with Tim. He had taken the time to sit down with me, research all over the country for a car I was looking for, but would not be able to get. So after a little while we talked about the 300H ES F-Sport. I already had my mind set on buying a Lexus, but his salesmanship was above reproach. I felt no pressure to buy, he simply explained to me what it offers and when the car will be available. The fact that we are both retired Army and the commonality was there. We were able to connect on another level, which made the whole process a way better experience . At the end, I put a deposit on the car. Didn't even have to negotiate. The car's price was very close to what TrueCar has. He explained that it won't be here til Mid March which is perfect. I didn't even bother test driving another vehicle, because of the reputation that Lexus has and the reviews that have been given. And I didn't trade my current one in, there was no pressure to do so.
