Excellent experience. The best experience I have encountered in purchasing a vehicle. Price of vehicle, service, timeliness of delivery, quality of vehicle and any items that were added to the vehi encountered in purchasing a vehicle. The financing department worked to achieve an exceptional rate for an exceptional vehicle. The salesman and sales manager were extremely courteous. Lexus of Smithtown was fabulous. The sales person Arjun Vir and sales manager Frank Galante were personable, knowledgeable and were sincere in satisfying my wife and I in the purchase of our new GS 350. They were professional in their approach and worked very hard to give us a deal that I we both felt very comfortable with. My experience with other dealerships were after you picked up the car, you would not hear from your sales person again. Not true with Lexus of Smithtown. Arjun called me several times after the sale to make sure I was satisfied with the vehicle and offered to assist me with the many features of the new GS. Thus far, the attention I have been given by Arjun and Frank have exceeded my expectations. I would also like to mention that the day I scheduled to pick up the car, Arjun could not be there due to a pre-arranged vacation. As such, he arranged for Abbas Rajani to deliver the car to me in his absence. Similar to Arjun and Frank, Abbas way exceeded my expectations. He was professional, soft spoken, thorough and spent as much time with us as needed to go over the cars features. His best quality was his technical understanding of the vehicle. Before leaving, Abbas gave us his cell phone number and told us to call him anytime if we have questions...... Totally unheard of from a dealership!!!! All three, Arjun, Frank and Abbas should be congratulated. They are GREAT ambassadors for Lexus of Smithtown. I would strongly recommend the dealership to anyone. More
Of all the auto dealers I have dealt with in experiencing an auto purchase, Arjun stands out at the leader of the pack. At first, we went to another Lexus dealer on Long Island, much closer to our home. We were given mediocre service. There was no follow-up. The salesman didn't even take the time to work the lease numbers. He seemed disinterested. We did go on a test drive and decided we liked the LX 570. So we went to Lexus of Smithtown and Shane Chesney took the time to go over the particulars of the vehicle and all the options for leasing. He was thorough, professional, courteous and extremely knowledgeable. He answered all our questions. He followed-up with phone calls, and a very nice letter. He always returned our calls promptly after our initial visit. We came back, because of Shane and leased the vehicle. We showed up, unannounced and he never got to eat dinner that night as he was called back immediately after he went for his dinner break! He is dedicated and courteous. Shane should be commended for his professionalism. He is the reason we drove all the way back to Smithtown for the LX 570. More
Went to Smithtown Lexus 4/27/12 to buy a Used Lexus 350RX. A price had been agreed upon by Mark Illiano and when I arrived from Ct. they did not honor their pricing. I had received a U Tube video of the car and was in discussions for a month including E Mails back and forth with Tim Burns, who states Customer satisfaction is their number one goal. I had an Acura TL trade in very good condition and I discussed Kelly Blue Book trade values with Paul Baltazar and Mark Illiano . They said they could do more for me as they also owned an Acura dealership.I went all that way in good faith and great expense, only to be turned away. I even had a check in hand for the car. I complained to the owners daughter and she promised to make it right. She had a Bob Dire call me and the offer was only 400. off the selling price. The day trip cost me more than that. I am just the Little Guy; I know but this was not fair treatment. Sincerely Cathy G. I wrote an earlier opinion of this dealership which was not favorable due to backing out on a prearranged deal. When I posted my experience on Dealer Rater it caused people i dealt with to re-examine my explanation of how I had been treated. Abbas Rajani called me on behalf of the company and once he heard my story he thought the treatment was unprofessional and should not of happened and that he would call me the next day with a legitimate offer to make it right. He instead called and began by telling me my car had been sold. And this was even before the renegotiations started. They again lied to me. They offered other cars with more miles at the" same" price and thought this would pacify me. I was hopeful twice only to be let down again. The way they talked down to me hurt more than the first time. Again I was led to believe this company stood by their word and customer satisfaction mattered. This is not the case. Cathy G More
My wife bought her 2007 Lexus GS new at Lexus of Smithtown and the sales experience and service has been excellent. I brought my 2005 Camry stick shift and my 2002 Camry XLE to Lexus of Smithtown Smithtown and the sales experience and service has been excellent. I brought my 2005 Camry stick shift and my 2002 Camry XLE to Lexus of Smithtown for service after being extremely disappointed with the level of professionalism and service at a neighboring Toyota dealership. I have been rewarded with courtesy and excellent service for my vehicles and the pricing has been about the same as at the Toyota dealership. When it comes time to replace the Toyotas, I will certainly look to Lexus of Smithtown. More
I first went to Lexus of Smithtown when looking for a new car. Robert Rossworn was my salesperson for the first car and my experience was excellent.
