Went in to get my radio serviced and was told numerous times that the radio was fine. They finally said the connection was loose and “fixed” it. 2 weeks later same issue is occurring and my warranty ran times that the radio was fine. After my car was serviced, I went to the collision center for an estimate. The alarm had gone on while the car was in the garage & keys were in the house. The alarm caused the trunk to open & it caught on th for an estimate. The alarm had gone on while the car was in the garage & keys were in the house. The alarm caused the trunk to open & it caught on the inside of the garage door, pulling the door up with it.. damage was done to the rear trunk. The estimate I finally received today is for $1274. This is considered person error, although I don’t know how that is possible. A scan was run to see if the keys were set off but nothing showed. This is my 8th Lexus. I hope to speak with the general manager about how we can come to an arrangement that will be satisfactory to a very loyal customer. Check my history to confirm. I will expect sone consideration from Lexus for damages that occurred while the car was in the garage and going no place. I recommend the service Center but am not happy with the collision department. What happened to my car was probably the result of product liability issue. More
