Came in to get a car settled on a beautiful Nx300 then when we went out for a test drive the blind spot monitor was broken. Then I was told I could bring it to my local dealership to be inspected and 99% when we went out for a test drive the blind spot monitor was broken. Then I was told I could bring it to my local dealership to be inspected and 99% chance it would be under warranty so it could be fixed there. Come to find out it cannot be inspected at my dealership AT ALL because of the location of the sensor. To make it clear I accept that I had to bring it to the dealership and the sensor was broken I’m mad because I was made to believe I could have this work done at my local dealership. The location of the sensor doesn’t change, the fact that you have to take the bumper off to figure this out doesn’t change and the fact that the diagnostic charge would apply I would assume wouldn’t change. So I feel lied to about the fact that I now have to drive two hours when I never should have been told in the first place I can go to my home dealership. Also was told Brookfield could be able to just pay my dealership if the work wasn’t covered under warranty. More
