Lexus of Brookfield

I found a vehicle that I wanted to purchase that was just traded in. I was told that I could not reserve or put money down on it until after inspection which is understandable. After a few days I requested traded in. I was told that I could not reserve or put money down on it until after inspection which is understandable. After a few days I requested an update and it was still going through inspection. Another couple days pass and I call and ask about the car again. I was then told that it was ready and I was able to put a deposit down. Salesman sent me the purchase agreement and it was almost $2K over the price they had advertised. They told me that they installed door edge guards, window protection, door lights, wheel locks, and put nitrogen air in the tires. This was all extremely overpriced product and services that I did not want but was installed anyways. I feel that these items were not necessary and installed to "upsell" the vehicles price. After looking at other vehicles the sales stickers noted that the items they had already installed were "optional". I was never given the option before installation. Everyone at the dealership was polite and gave us a good experience overall but I feel that the advertised price and then "hidden" fees on the sales agreement was very misleading. More
