If I could rate this dealership at a Zero or below I would. I first want to say, Ekaterina in Service is the only GOOD part of Lester Glenn Subaru, not sure why she wants to work there! We have spent A LOT OF MONEY and have been VERY PATIENT with the non stop screw ups by your service department.We have a vehicle with 40,000 miles on it. This last visit is just another SCREW UP! We were told the oil pan had to be replaced as there was a leak. When I asked why I never saw a leak in my driveway, I was told it just started. WHAT? Oh, but it is covered under warranty. Nice, this sounds like a way for them to make more money! Going back to the previous visit, we purchased a "tire warranty package" when we bought the car. Lester Glenn could not find this in the system. After so much trouble, the NEW tire that was put on the car was a DIFFERENT tire than we had. That created driving issues and air leakage. WE WERE TOLD THE MECHANIC WAS NEW! HOW ON EARTH DID YOUR SERVICE DEPARTMENT GET TRAINED??? Then, the next visit, we were told we needed 4 NEW tires at an over priced amount of money! We figured, if we do not go to the Dealer, they may not cover any future problems. IMMEDIATELY after picking up the car that took SEVERAL DAYS to service, the tires pressure is LOW AGAIN! We had a 6 hour drive, each way, out of state with a car and tires that we could not trust after spending almost $3,000.00 on service and tires! Turns out, it was due to the valve stem where you put air in. We were told by your Service Department new tires DO NOT COME WITH NEW VALVE STEMS! WHAT? We severely OVER PAID, AGAIN, at Lester Glenn and STILL DO NOT HAVE A CAR WE CAN TRUST! There are numerous other issues, like the 2 windshields and sunroof put in, the NOISE IN THE CAR SINCE THESE WERE INSTALLED IS AWFUL! I am sick to my stomach just reliving this NIGHTMARE. We have spoken with numerous other Toms River residents about your Service Department and there seems to be a TREND! No one we spoke with will ever go back and now you can add us to this list. NEVER AGAIN will we be ripped off, over charged and NOT get straight answers and proper service. I will be reporting Lester Glenn to every State and Government agency as this is a SAFETY CONCERN and A FINANCIAL CONCERN especially for us disabled Veterans and over 60 year old people in this area. I believe we are owed compensation for the over priced, time consuming, low quality and POOR SERVICE. THIS MEANS THE NEW TIRES THAT ARE SUPPOSED TO COME WITH A WARRANTY WE CAN NOT BENEFIT FROM AS WE WILL NEVER RETURN TO LESTER GLENN. It is an UNDERSTATEMENT to say how FURIOUS I am. More

I had a service scheduled at 9:40 AM for an oil change and tire rotation. I arrived exactly at that time, and I always ensure that I get a very specific appointment because I know that I need a specific m and tire rotation. I arrived exactly at that time, and I always ensure that I get a very specific appointment because I know that I need a specific mechanic and a specific bay to be able to lift my truck. I Did not get done with my appointment until 1:40 PM. Less than an hour after service while driving home both of my back tires indicated low air in them. So now that I just waited four hours for entire service, it still wasn’t completed. If I didn’t have a service plan already with Subaru , I truly would never come back again. I waited that entire time, and was actually the only one waiting when my car was finally finished. More
I’m a returning customer to Lester Glenn Subaru, trading in my 2023 Forrester for a 2024 Outback. I can’t begin to tell you how inspiringly hard Seth worked to make this deal come together! Friendly, amicable, knowledgeable- it’s like he knew exactly what I was looking for within a handshake’s exchange…fully loaded Outback, more room for my growing teenage kids and all their equipment, plus the details & trim of a higher end car. Seth also treated us like family- making sure we had all options on the table, offering sound recommendations, bolstering our confidence even more in the Lester Glenn & Subaru names. I think the quality of work is good but every time I go in, and I’m other dealers are the same, it costs $500.00 or more. Simple service work turns into a big expense. Frustrating.
