The people that work there are great. I assume my issues come from a staffing problem. I have a difficult time getting in touch with the service department. This dealership has been horrible since day one. I traded in a truck and they put me in a new car. 30 days later they ask me to bring the car back in because I didn't qualify for that one, but I did I traded in a truck and they put me in a new car. 30 days later they ask me to bring the car back in because I didn't qualify for that one, but I did qualify for a different car...if I pit 3000 (or 3500) I can't remember now down. So I scramble the money up, go to Kia, they still haven't let me see this other car. At this point I feel trapped because of my truck and they had literally dropped my credit score by 100 sending my app to about 40 places smh. They bring out this other car. It had been wrecked, no jack or spare tire, scratch on one side. I told them I didn't want it until they at least fixed where it was wrecked. Longer story shirt, I was stuck with it and I was in a bind where I couldn't get my truck back and had to take the car. On top of this I told then I didn't want my than a four year loan (it was longer) and they charged me like 18,000 grand on top of my 3000 down fir a used, wrecked 2016 Kia Soul. The car had around 81,000 miles on it and was making a horrible noise. I took it into Kia. The mechanic said it sounded like my engine was fixing to blow. They signed me up for extended warranty and said give it two weeks or 1000 miles and bring it back so the engine would be covered. It made it less than 20. I waited the two weeks for the warranty to be in the system then took it back. This time once I parked it the car wouldn't start for them to put it in the garage area. They got it in there and then wanted 1500.00 because they said my alternator and battery was out and they needed that before they could even tell me if my engine had blown or not for sure. The bluebook on my.2016 Kia Soul was 4000.00 in good shape. I told them to let the company come pick it up unfortunately. They told me they wouldn't let them pick it up unless I paid 99.00 diagnostic fee! I refuse to pay that because they didn't diagnose whether my engine blew or not? They wanted 1500 first then was going to what? Charge it again? They said the warranty for sure wouldn't cover the engine anyways (which made my decision for the finance co to come pick it up) because the warranty was 30 days AND 1000 miles. No way that could happen with a blown engine. The sales person got me, the finance person got me, the service dept got me (I'm sure there were other depth as well). I will never purchase another Kia but I would definitely never ever ever walk into Lawton Kia ever again!! Do yourself a favor (a HUGE one) and find a dealership that doesn't lie to you, doesn't give you a car and take it back 30 days later, and just overall screws you over from signing until the day your engine with only 81,000 miles on it blows! More
