Best car purchase I just got my new 328i with a manual tranny. Had to be ordered for color, tranny, and interior I wanted. The car came in with the wrong color leather. I just got my new 328i with a manual tranny. Had to be ordered for color, tranny, and interior I wanted. The car came in with the wrong color leather. Dealership covered the extra costs to me, reordered me another car (which came in perfect), and provided a free Hertz rental in the meantime. Their attitude was excellent about getting it right, and they did with no hassles to me. Never tried to "sell" me on the one with the incorrect leather color. Now I have the car I always wanted and it is great. They also got BMW to rush the re-order by moving the car up on BMW priority listing, so it came in in half the time of a normal order. The dealership was very efficient, having all the paperwork (and these days there is plenty required) ready to go, explained everything, and made the delivery process and ordering of the car a real pleasure. Especially to be noted (see below) is Les Cutler, the best car person I have ever met. He is HONEST, knowledgeable, never has hidden agendas for "later" in the process, explains everything up front, straight forward, efficient, pleasant, and makes sure you understand everything you need to know. Looks up anything he may not know and follows up with you to answer the question. He also spends a great deal of time at the delivery of the car to demonstrate the details of all aspects of the car. He also introduced me to a service writer for when the car needs to come in, the dealership manager, the financial person, and the "genius" service person (they walk you through anything you still need to know or learn a few weeks after you have the car. Les left no stones unturned. Excellent service from him, and all with friendly, cheerful attitude. More
