The car has been sitting in my garage for well over a year because it won’t pass an emission test or run correctly. Not happy with these guys. They sold me a vehicle that has been problematic since day year because it won’t pass an emission test or run correctly. Not happy with these guys. They sold me a vehicle that has been problematic since day one. It belonged to the owner's son, and from what I get from two of the employees, he pretty much dumped it off through the dealership. The car was turned into a race car basically, but I was told it had a little tune on the motor and it had been lowered, on the day I purchased it. I came to find out through their service department that almost every engine part was changed on the motor so that it would push big horsepower. And it had become so unreliable, the son had the dealership sell it through them. I had it towed down there two weeks ago, they told me they would work on it and we would start with a compression test. My budget was 12k so I paid $150 to get it down there and they charged me $185 for the compression test. After they did the compression test, the employee told me they would not work on the car because the owner's son had them do too many mods to it. Both employees also told me that they (Larry H. Miller VW), in their opinion, should not have sold that car to me and that they felt bad that I was stuck in this position. Had to have it towed back home for another $150 and here I am writing this review, unfortunately. I was willing to spend the 12k to get this car done and reliable but after the conversations with the two service guys and a few other shops in town, it's come to this.I try never to leave a negative review but I’m going to lose a little over $25,000 on this car and it’s really unfortunate. I guess it’s off to the Dealer Board to see what can be done. I will update with the results. More
