I was told $99. 95 for an alignment. Simple procedure. Great. I was told this price three separate times. I went in for the appointment and they were done within an h 95 for an alignment. Simple procedure. Great. I was told this price three separate times. I went in for the appointment and they were done within an hour. That’s great. I go to pay and the total is $115. I ask how is that possible, when it is $99.95 plus tax? I was told there are miscellaneous fees for “shop materials”. What shop materials? The only thing needed for an alignment is a wrench and the alignment machine. Classic dishonest dealership. I was given my receipt, but no alignment post-work print out. So I ask for one. It look 10+ minutes to get a piece of paper that should have been included by default. Ok, whatever. The sheet says my rear tires are out of alignment, yet they are exactly as they are from the factory. All Passports come with 2deg negative camber, from the factory. I kindly ask about this, why the machine says they are out of alignment? I am told “the alignment machine does not account for a load on the suspension.” If that’s the case, why are the front tires fully within spec while hanging on the lift? This makes no sense. More
