Jeep Diesel Recall Had to do a recall service on our 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee Diesel. Called the dealer and made an appointment. They had the vehicle all day. Emergency warranty repair while traveling While enroute from WA state to Arizona. The “service def system see dealer” message came on and the mileage limit started. We had just left Twin Falls Dodge thinking the newly installed def module had fixed the problem. Landon got us right in and the tech discovered that the “new” def module was bad. I called and made an appt with them and told them all that was wrong with my car and when I took it in for my appt they asked me once again what was wrong with it, you’d think they’d take all this info down when talking to you. They gave us a rental and the manager Troy Bullard left his bag in the back I thought I was able to take it out to him at the dealership so I told the mechanic when he called the time I’d be out there and I was running behind so I called the dealership multiple times and the phone just rang and didn’t give me the option to leave a message to let them know I wouldn’t be able to make it out there when I said I could, eventually Troy called me upset that I didn’t bring his bag to the dealership and he was waiting for me to show up as if it’s my problem that he left his bag in the rental car he was driving prior, so he came to my house to grab his bag. We had the rental for two weeks and never heard from them on an update of what was going on with our vehicle, so my husband called them to see and the first thing the guy asked was what exactly is wrong with your vehicle so once again we have to tell them all the issues were having with our car. They told us they ordered parts and were waiting for them to arrive to fix the car, they had our car for a whole month. My husband called the mechanic to see if they figured out the mechanical problem that we’ve been having since 6 months into buying our car brand new and we’ve takin it in 3 different times and it still hasn’t got fixed, and the guy said he’d take a look at it and see if he can figure it out. Eventually they called back and left a message stating they didn’t see an issue with it and that we’d have to bring their rental car back or we’d be charged, I called the Logan location on accident so they transferred me to the Riverdale location and the service line just kept ringing I wasn’t able to take it in that day because I worked a double, I tried to call them once again to let them know that and it did the same thing just rang, so the next morning I was feeding my daughter breakfast and getting her ready so we can pick our car up and I get a call from Troy Bullard the manager he was disrespectful as xxxx he emediatlty had a irritated rude tone over the phone with me and said they’ve been trying to get a hold of me and they will have to charge me for the rental and I told him how I’ve been trying to get a hold of them to let them know I couldn’t come in till Tuesday when I had work off that morning and also how I called the Logan location and they transferred me and the first thing he said “RIGHT I DOUBT THAT, WE DON’T EVEN HAVE A LOGAN LOCATION” as soon as he disrespected me I had no patience for his rude gestures and I said I have proof that I’ve tried to call you guys you act like I’m tryin to steal your rental, you guys have my car so why would you think I’d be trying to run off with your rental. My car is newer and has so much more than the rental they gave us so I don’t t know why they were acting so crazy about getting there xxxx rental back, we have a warranty that covered the rental and all we wanted was for them to fix the problems going on with our car. My husband left work to come with me just Incase a had any problems with Troy at the dealership and when we left, there was a strange noise we didn’t notice before the tire on the back right side was flat I did ask them at the dealership to look at that and they said there was a nail in it that was unrepairable and all our tires would need to be replaced, we took it to big O tires in Layton and the mechanic was so helpful and nice, he was in shock that we took it to the dealership and they said they couldn’t fix it. So sure enough he was able to repair it for us!! Also 4 hours into driving, our car system started acting up again saying all the lights were out and both blinkers didn’t work, that has been our main issue since we bought the car. This is such a long review but I had to write it so others know what they might encounter dealing with the Riverdale Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram dealership and Troy Bullard the manager. More
