On March 16, 2011, while driving on Fort Union Blvd in Midvale, my 2008 Duramax powered 3/4 ton Chevy pickup overheated and I shut it down. This truck has had cooling system problems on several occasions, the most recent being in late November of 2010, when a pressure test, done at a dealership in Medford, OR, with higher than usual pressure, revealed a leak in the coolant reservoir. The coolant reservoir was replaced by the dealership in Medford, OR at my expense. The truck had been sent to Medford because the former Chevy dealership in Klamath Falls, OR, where I had purchased the vehicle, was no longer certified to do do warranty work and they believed that a leaking head gasket was the source of the coolant loss. Since getting the truck back in late December, the coolant leak has persisted and in the last two weeks it has gotten worse, requiring the frequent addition of coolant. The AAA tow truck driver took me to Larry Miller Chevrolet where I was greeted when I walked into the service department by a friendly man who told me to drive my truck inside. Once inside, Matt, a very courteous and efficient man, filled out the work order and advised me that since it was nearly noon, that we wouldn't know the nature of the problem until early afternoon. To our mutual surprise, by the time the work order was done, a tech had moved my truck to his work area and was busy troubleshooting the problem as noon approached. I went to lunch and Matt called me about 40 min later to tell me that the problem was a leaking head gasket and that the tech was working to fix it. I talked to the tech on my return and he told me that he would have the truck running late the following afternoon, which he did. I picked up my truck Thursday evening and it ran the best it has run in a long time. I have driven it over 200 mile since the repair and I couldn't be happier with the courtesy, the efficiency and with the quality of the work from the service department at Larry Miller Chevrolet. More
Unlike other dealerships, Larry h miller was more than happy to take my trade and excited to take on the challenging job of finding a truck that I liked. After my initial phone call with Steve, he called me back several times with different options and different ways to save me money. I didn't have to work at all, just answer questions! It was awesome! Three days after starting my conversation with Steve, I went out to the dealership and to my surprise, the paperwork was done, the truck was ready to go, and the financing was done! I was out of there in roughly three hours. Possibly the best dealership experience I have ever had. Thank-you Steve and Larry h miller for making me a return customer for life! More
Ron Franklin was very helpfull and friendly. He gave us the deal we wanted without a lot of pressure. He kept us informed about the process of the car. Great experience, with the trade in and purchase of used car. Answered all my questions, and I felt that I got a reasonable price. We had a great experience... however... once we got the car home we realized there is two tears in leather on the back of the seat.... if I would have seen this prior to purchasing I would have never bough car home we realized there is two tears in leather on the back of the seat.... if I would have seen this prior to purchasing I would have never bought this vehicle... I guess I am asking for recommendations on how to fix this problem? I keep my vehicles up to great standards and plan on keeping this for awhile and do not want it to tear even more... I was treated with respect, courtesy and a genuine concern that I would purchase the vehicle that I wanted. Grant Bassett did all that. Mr. Bassett accompanied me on a test drive, talked with me on the lot about my wants/needs all on a cold windy day(It didn't phase him). At his desk, I was welcomed and personally felt that he had my best interests at heart(I felt good about purchasing a vehicle). A price was negotiated, the vehicle was located and delivered the same day. The original sales contract(signed by me that day) had a glaring figures error that I noticed that night. I called Grant that night(10pm), to explain my concern, he was concerned too! The next day I showed up at the dealership, presented the copy of the contract to Grant, his response was "We'll make it right". Mike Holmes(Finance Manager) agreed there was a problem with the figures. The problem was rectified and the deal was made. Upon delivery of the vehicle, Grant explained in depth about how the features worked/got me hooked up to OnStar/explained the service department and showed great concern that I was happy with my purchase. The roses were a nice touch at the end. I'm a very satisfied Larry H. Miller Chevrolet customer. I would recommend this dealership to anyone! I know Tom for so many years and he always provide good costumer service ,and always I trust heis comments. I know that when I come to the dealer I feel secure about the service advisor , so in this case costumer service ,and always I trust heis comments. I know that when I come to the dealer I feel secure about the service advisor , so in this case is Tom Scharlow .In the past I have bring to the dealer at list 25 different cars ,includen my kids and even from work I have in the past a little problem with on e of Suburbans ( brake system) and I call Tom to see if they can help me ,I remember we try to fix the Sub 3 times and he when the extra mille to acomodate the shechedule time and follow up with me about to fix the problem , he never let me down ./././thank you .. I appreciated Tom's courteous manner in which he took care of everything I needed while I was there. I had my oil changed, tires rotated and the air in the tires was supposed to be at 30 psi per tire - The air in the tires wasn't checked. Each tire had a different pressure and it was one of the things that needed to be done. There was only one person releasing cars that were completeo we had to wait almost 20 minutes to get my car. This could have been done better. With such a large service department only having one person available seems counterproductive. More
