Oil change tire rotation I called and received an appointment very quickly. I was happy with the time it took as I was waiting in the lobby. 85K service + a recall Service done , but took longer for the recall than I had hoped. A side light was out & replaced [cheap Japanese lights but not inexpensive ;-)]. Bought a used Jeep So we had priced several used Jeep Renegades and found one here. We showed up ready to buy immediately. The salesman to which we were assigned, Robe So we had priced several used Jeep Renegades and found one here. We showed up ready to buy immediately. The salesman to which we were assigned, Robert Jeans, was very good. He showed us a couple of comparable makes/models for our price range. He was efficient and courteous. Everything was great until we drove off of the lot. Once we left, we noticed that the front window tint had a tear in it that wasn't visible during the test drive. Either it had been covered by a sticker, or had been damaged in taking something off. Once we got home, we called. We got the finance guy. He told us that since they had "lost" $2,700 on the sale that they would not help us fix the problem. Apparently, service at Landers-McLarty depends upon the amount of profit you make them. Even though we had taken an apparent money-sink off of their hands, as he repeatedly told us how every day on the lot cost the dealership money out of pocket. One of the panels inside of the car had been removed and was sitting on the driver's seat. Why my wife didn't say something then I have no idea. However, when she mentioned that to the guy on the phone, he was very rude and told her that we had signed for the vehicle as-is, and it was our fault that the vehicle wasn't up to par. Due to the response we got when we called, this is the last time I ever visit *any* of the Landers-McLarty dealerships again. The only reason I gave the two stars was because of the salesman. More
