DONT BUY FROM LAKESIDE!!! AVOID THESE GUYS! Seriously, I bought my wife a used minivan from this place and they told me I could drive away with it on-the-spot. Well, they nee AVOID THESE GUYS! Seriously, I bought my wife a used minivan from this place and they told me I could drive away with it on-the-spot. Well, they needed to detail it and they signed a "document" saying they owed me a "full" detail. Well, when it was done, I checked it out...it was filthy. Really really filthy. I mean...it still had an dried up moldy yogurt cup in the back that their "detail" shop hadn't seen fit to pick up. So..I had to leave...I come back the next day (Saturday) and get told "You cant take the van unless you sign OUR contract"...well, they already knew I was getting financing from another bank. I left. Monday, I have the check in hand from my bank (certified funds) and a personal check for our down payment and get told "We cant take a personal check unless you sign OUR contract...then you can take the van." Now...bear in mind, my wife is standing there about to cry. All to get us to sign their contract, which I have no doubt they would then enforce and require us to pay their interest rate (despite the fact they were DOUBLE what the local credit union gave us). After almost screaming at their manager, they deigned to "accept" our money. Oh...and they NEVER DID THE DETAIL. The van is still filthy, but we're just going to go to a local detail shop. In my opinion, these are the most dishonest, xxxxxxx, and unethical car sales folks in town. I cannot honestly picture HOW any car dealership could possibly be less honest than Lakeside. Did they try to pad their bottom line with extra "fees"? yep...did they take them off when I squawked? yes. (I caught them...watch for that). I'd give them 0 stars if I could. In retrospect, I wish my wife hadn't been there since I could have just walked away from the deal. It would have been worth it to spend a bit more to buy from another dealership. More

Toyota Prius 3...My first new car in almost 11 years!!! I was avoiding buying a car as long as possible. The experience purchasing new cars in the past was extremely stressful, and I wasn't looking forward I was avoiding buying a car as long as possible. The experience purchasing new cars in the past was extremely stressful, and I wasn't looking forward to buying a new car anytime soon. My 2006 Jeep had other plans for me, and it was clear a new car was a necessity, STAT!...only adding to my anxiety. And then, I went to Lakeside Toyota! I never felt pressured. All of my many questions were answered patiently and thoroughly. I felt like I got a good deal and a very fair price for my trade-in. It was a refreshing compared to buying other cars. Michael Weeks made the pricing and trade-in process very easy. Kevin Canavier was so patient with me; showed me all the great features of my fancy new Prius and synched my phone to the car for me!
