I bought my vehicle 2005 Range Rover 6 months ago. I purchased the extended warranty. One of my windows stopped working and I was hearing squeaks from underneath the vehicle so I called and made an appo purchased the extended warranty. One of my windows stopped working and I was hearing squeaks from underneath the vehicle so I called and made an appointment to bring it into the dealerships service department. I took the vehicle in and then I start getting the run around. Now that the vehicle’s there I am now being told I need to look at my warranty to see if these things are covered and per Jeff they would likely not be and if they aren’t then its $90.00 to look at EACH of the described problems PLUS the cost of repair. BUT THIS INFORMATION was NEVER mentioned PRIOR to or at the time of making the appointment. Then to have to get all of this warranty information MYSELF although the dealership should have known this, I find out I have an EXCELLENT warranty and all the problems should be covered. But after he tried to empty my pockets and give me some bullshit story and attitude I would and will NOT EVER now let them touch my vehicle. Next thing you know they will start charging for un-needed repairs and services they didn’t provide. POOR customer service!!!! And probably even WORSE repairs. More
And the pain of dealing with this dealership still continues even 8 years after the purchase of the "vehicle". I had purchased a 99 Olds Bravada in 02 and was givin a 3 month 3000 mile warranty, a jo continues even 8 years after the purchase of the "vehicle". I had purchased a 99 Olds Bravada in 02 and was givin a 3 month 3000 mile warranty, a joke, bought and extended warranty, even more of a joke. Within 3 months and 3000 miles we started to have issues, first was lack of heating, made an appointment, waited 3 days got it in, they had it for a day and said that the radiator needed a super acid flush because the dexcool had broken down, I had said you guys did a GM Certified inspection on it prior to selling it and was told that these things can happen at anytime, ok fine, they wanted $560 for this super acid flush, ??? are you kidding me? went round and round and finally they agreed to do it since we had a warranty for $50 bucks, basically a deductable. after 4 days we got it back.Another monthlaterhadissues again with the service engine light coming on, now it's just beyond the 3 month 3000 mile warranty, now it's the oil cooler lines which wasn't covered by the extended warranty. another $850. 3 more months later my wife was stuck when it wouldn't start. had it towed to Braeger, charged us for the tow, $50, did a diagnostics, $80, to say the altenator and battery were both shot and said with labor it would be $675, ???? are you kidding me again? I was out of town and told my wife to get it the hell out of there. they said they would be able to fix it for less since we had a warranty, um ok, why didn't it cover the oil cooler lines, half assed explantion was givin. The straw that broke the camels back was 10 months after owning this wonderful POSthe climate control went out so you only had extreme cold or heat. They told us for the unit and labor another $560. so all in all in 10 months a vehicle that we paid $11,000 for plus the extended warranty plus all the out of pocket repairs over 2300. Needless to say we dumped it and traded it in to a different dealer and thought we were finally done with it only to find out that we had Universal underwriters Insurance on it and we have a refund of $506 coming to us. Contacted Braeger and they are saying that because it is so old they would have to try and dig up the records and that there may be a fee. a fee??? to get my money back??? You be the judge, I purchased a new 89 Cavelier and got screwed with that to. You think I would have learned the first time around. I gave them a second chance, never again. You have been Warned... STAY AWAY FROM BRAEGER!!! More
So I called to make an appointment for an oil change and problems w/ noise when turning steering wheel. When I made the appointment, they neglected to tell me they no longer offer the $1 oil change when I problems w/ noise when turning steering wheel. When I made the appointment, they neglected to tell me they no longer offer the $1 oil change when I specified when I scheduled the appointment that is what I wanted. They made me go all the way down there and then still didn't even tell me. I only realized it when I look the the :write up" of why I was there that they have you sign. If I hadn't read it, I would have gotten the oil change and had to pay for it. When I bought the car there, they swore to me I would get the $1 oil change for as long as I owned the car, NO MATTER what. I had also referred several friends that did buy cars from them, which they should be well aware of, but they still couldn't give me the $1 oil change. I drove there all the the way down there when I could have gone somewhere much closer. Needless to say, I didn't get the oil change and will be taking my car somewhere else from now on. To top it all off, they couldn't fix my new car either because they didn't know what was wrong w/ it. I WILL NEVER, EVER REFER ANYONE ELSE THERE. IF YOU ARE READING THIS, STAY CLEAR OF BRAEGER CHEVROLET AND ALL OF BRAEGER. More
I absolutely will not ever recommend this dealership to anyone !! I bought a car that was quoted a price before I got there. When I arrived they tried to haggle the pricing with me- but still came down to anyone !! I bought a car that was quoted a price before I got there. When I arrived they tried to haggle the pricing with me- but still came down to the price I wanted after about an hour. After leaving the lot with my used car I noticed that there was a broken case around the rear brake light. This was only the beginning. Since owning the car - only TWO WEEKS !!! so much else is wrong. The day I brought it home the check engine light went on.. when I called, twice and after 2 emails, no one called back/returned calls. I took my car to a home town dealer to check the car out. It was over due for an oil change/filters which would run 200$.. because it is a foreign car. Also needed new front barrings $500 bucks. and the front fog lights do not work and there is no button (was replaced with a dummy for some reason) The dealer reassures me that it was a trade from a "good" customer..NOW the transmition light is on. They want me to bring the car in to be looked at..but they will not guarantee that they will fix anything unless I pay for it.. geesh..talk about customer service.. and dealer of shady cars. BOTTOM LINE.. do NOT buy used cars here.. you might get an okay price, but you will pay the difference for fix up and maintainance. !!! and sadly, its just the beginning for me.. I paid near $10,000 for this used car.. and already looks like i will be putting a couple extra thousand just to get it to par. They do not return calls promptly and will not be honest with you. This is NOT NOT NOT a place of integrity. Take my words of advice.. SHOP ELSEWHERE !! More

Braeger Chevrolet offers a $1.00 oil change. BEWARE!!!!!! Braeger Chevrolet isn't telling if you don't ask! Braeger Chevrolet IS NOT USING GENUINE GM AC FILTERS for the $1.00 oil changes. If you want GENUIN Braeger Chevrolet isn't telling if you don't ask! Braeger Chevrolet IS NOT USING GENUINE GM AC FILTERS for the $1.00 oil changes. If you want GENUINE GM PARTS for your oil changes, you will have to pay a higher or regular price for your oil changes. When you pay as much as you do for your car, and want it to last as long as it can, don't you want QUALITY GM PARTS for your GM car? I asked Braegers parts department personel, if they used AC oil filters for their $1.00 oil changes, and they replied "NO". If Braeger is skimping on their oil filters, what other GM parts are they substituting generic parts for? The oil filters are cheap generic filters amde in CHINA!!!!!! Braeger Chevrolet once told me that I needed a front brake job, and that I needed NEW rotsrs, because they cannot be machined now-a-days, only to go to my Pontiac delaer, to tell me that I still had 90% of my front brake life left. It took two weeks for them to fix a FENDER BENDER. I had asked that I be contacted with the progress of my car, but I ended up doing most of the contacting. I will NEVER take my car to the dealer again if asked that I be contacted with the progress of my car, but I ended up doing most of the contacting. I will NEVER take my car to the dealer again if I get into another accident. I would rather take it to a family owned body shop down the road. My car would have been fixed a lot sooner. More

On the evening of July 5th, 2006 my fiancee and I went into Braeger to take advantage of their zero down, zero percent for 72 months end of the year clearance special. That evening we were approved for t into Braeger to take advantage of their zero down, zero percent for 72 months end of the year clearance special. That evening we were approved for the zero percent loan and told to come back the next day to pick up our car since it was past closing and the car was not ready to be taken off the lot. Mitch Rea our sales associate told us to bring in our proof of income and proof of full coverage insurance on the 6th in order to pick up the car. So the next morning I purchased insurance for the car. That same afternoon Mitch calls me to tell me the loan decision was reversed based on my outstanding student loans, and that we would need to get a co-signer, but not to worry because we would certainly get financing with a co-signer and we would still get zero percent because the application was started during the special. Frankly, we could have provided a co-signer the night of the 5th, but they told us we didn't need one and were approved so one would hope that the least they would do would be to offer the zero percent still. Taking their word for it, we immediately provided them with our financing information and our co-signers. Now six days later (Monday, July 10, 2006), they finally approve us for the loan. Apparently, the VP of GMAC was out of town Friday-Sunday and couldn't get to it any earlier, but we patiently waited understanding that these things can take time. When Mitch called me today to let me know the loan was approved and that we should come in to pick up the car he gave us no indication about the news we were about to recieve. We got all the way to the dealer only to find out they took too long organizing the loan information in order to extend us the zero percent down! The best part was Mitch didn't even deliver the information to us himself. He had the a girl named Jennifer from the Braegar financing staff do it for him. When I told her that we were promised the zero percent down, she treated us like we were the ones who took too long to get the loan processing done. Then she had a main sales associate come and speak with us. He wasn't anymore helpful. Mitch never did come to see how we were doing and he was the one with all the promises and the one who was supposedly taking care of us. I will be telling everyone I know to stear clear of Braegar Chevrolet on 4100 S. 27th St. in Milwaukee, WI, and whatever you do don't ask for Mitch Rea. More
