Our Body Shop Manager spoke with this this customer regarding her concerns: The customer did a claim for Allstate using her virtual assist app. (AllState app to make a claim...similiar to facetime). They deposited approximately $800.00 in her account for the estimate. AllState did not have an alignment on her original estimate. The customer dropped her vehicle off on Tuesday and Alex called Allstate right away because of the condition of her vehicle and the damages she was claiming that were not on the estimate. (Brakes, blower fan shuts off when going over a bump, alignment, knocking noise). I called the AllSate Re-Inspector on Wednesday because Alex did not hear back from the Rep he left a message for. Todd from Allstate was told about the customers concerns. I let him know that we did do an alignment and our Service Tech did drive the vehicle. (her husband replaced all of the front suspension on the van except the sway bar bushings which we told her could possibly be the knocking noise she hears because they are dry rotted.) Alignment was checked and everything is within specs (no adjustments were needed). The right front fender has a dent in it. I told Todd that we could not remove and install the bumper to repair and refinish the fender due to the rust, and we also discussed the color match if we did paint it how it would be much newer looking then the rest of the vehicle. Todd told me to call the customer and let her know about the alignment and color and give her the option to not have the dent repaired and cash out. I called Rebecca and went over everything with her. She said she would like me to explain everything to her husband, her husband asked if he kept the money if he would have to pay for the alignment, I let him know we were not charging him or the insurance company for the alignment check, we did not have to adjust anything and wanted to verify that everything was good as just a customer courtesy, they then came and picked up there vehicle. Rebecca did then call me back after she drove home and yelled at me that her alignment is not good because her vehicle is pulling to the right. I called her and let her know that I do have an alignment print out and everything was good and if she wanted to come back I would go for a ride with her. She said that when you let go of the steering wheel the vehicle pulls and she knows we didn’t do anything to her van to fix it . In our opinion, this vehicle is not safe for road travel. We did take pictures and forwarded them to AllState. We did perform the alignment...at no charge and the alignment spec sheet shows everything is in specs and no adjustments are necessary or recommended.

Since you want to put all the nitty gritty on here, I did not get $800. We only got $516.80. I gave a hit list of things that were not happening before the accident and even stated the blower fan turning on and off might just be from age or a wire came loose from the accident. Guess what its a wire that YOU missed. The caliper is sticking on the side that was hit. That was fine before the accident and was brand new as of last Jan. As for the knock and alignment it will be going to the shop that put the new tires on and did the alignment orginally back in late Feb/ early March. They will also be checking the tire out. The hit was to the tire and fender area. As for paint not matching thats a joke. When my husband hit a deer 5yrs ago it was repainted and it matches. So well infact you never would know. You may think oh its old dull and fading. Its called it needed a wash and wax. It looks great today even with the dents, which my husband will take care of as soon as he gets a day off. I was told the alignment was done not just checked. it pulls to the right. If you take your hand off the steering wheel you go into the next lane. If someone drove it and thinks thats proper they need a new profession. Im not even talking about when you break and you get pulled into the next lane. I know thats from the caliper sticking which is from the accident .
