STAY AWAY FROM KOONS!!! We made the mistake of buying a used 2013 Nissan Rogue from Koons in late December 2019. Last week we discovered the air conditioning doesn't work and We made the mistake of buying a used 2013 Nissan Rogue from Koons in late December 2019. Last week we discovered the air conditioning doesn't work and will cost over $900 to repair. Koons refuses to cover the repair. Both me and my wife are registered nurses. My wife works in infection prevention at an area nursing home and uses the care to get to and from work. We didn't use the air conditioner between now and when we bought it because it was, you know, winter. We made the mistake of trusting Koons that they had done a proper inspection prior to selling us the car. My wife has been insanely busy everyday trying to save the lives of her residents and prevent the spread of COVID-19. She started her job in January, right before the outbreak hit, and was very busy from her first day. This is one reason why we didn't have time to get the car looked at by our mechanic within the 30 day 1000 mile window. I explained this to the staff at Koons, but they did not care. Don't make the same mistake we did. Stay away from Koons Toyota and all Koons dealerships. They are dishonest and heartless and don't care at all about essential healthcare heroes like my wife. More

We could tell he was somewhat nervous but, he did a great job answering our questions and following up on any of our requests. He had the truck detailed, gassed up and, ready to go when we got there an hour earlier than promised. He really went out of his way to make us feel special throughout the entire process. A gentleman named Jeremy helped us finalize the paperwork and he was not only courteous, he found us a slightly lower interest rate. I would definitely recommend James (and Jeremy) to anyone interested in a new Toyota. I was able to get the truck I wanted at a more than fair price. thanks James! More

This is in regards to the recall scheduling team. I called because I received a notice in the mail stating that my Camry had a recall due to faulty airbags. I called to schedule the appointment and sc called because I received a notice in the mail stating that my Camry had a recall due to faulty airbags. I called to schedule the appointment and schedule additional services at the same time. I was transferred to the recall scheduling line and the woman who answered became rude after the ViN number that I gave her did not show up in the system. She had me repeat the number several times and then repeated it back to me wrong. She then said that I just did not have a recall. I did not feel confident with the statement so I asked to speak to her manager. Jonathan, who said he was the manager, picked up the call quickly and just as quickly stated that my car did not have a recall and that I should be happy about that. He then went on to say that Toyota sends out batch recall notices to everyone even if their vehicle is not affected. His quick response and canned explanation gave me the impression that he did not look into my car and my question, and made me feel like he was hurrying me off of the phone. He offered me the number to the manufacturer, which was wrong when I tried to call it. I asked to speak with someone above him because I did not feel as though my concern was being addressed appropriately and he then became upset saying that he was the manager. He also would not give me his last name or his employee ID number so I could reference who i was speaking to. I have purchased two cars from Koons Toyota in Westminster and after today, I will not make that mistake again. More

I have a search criteria of specific vehicles I’m looking for , he basically told me that the car doesn’t exist in the price range I want . No research or anything . There are many within a 30 mile proximity of the dealership that do fit my criteria. Instead of being rude and saying it doesn’t exist he could of said they currently don’t have one. His exact quote “I don’t know if that was a joke, but that defiantly won’t exist.” Are you kidding me cause there are many within 1 hour of driving range . Rude customer service . More
