As far as I am concerned, when things go as I expect they should that means it was a good buying experience. No hidden surprises in price and no pressure to add any extra packages. Staff were very friendly and helpful--not pushy or impatient about purchase decision. I just assumed all the dealerships were one big family (as I'm sure in concept they are) but I soon realized that impatient about purchase decision. I dropped by the dealership earlier in the week to test drive the Juke. I told Mark that I wanted to buy on Saturday. I ended up selling my other car and realized I didn't have a ride over to the dealersh drive the Juke. I told Mark that I wanted to buy on Saturday. I was very happy that my sales agent came and picked me up at my home in Honolulu! Also, I got a loyal return customer discount. When I decided to purchase through them, they greeted me politely and began to help me through the purchase process. They weren't pushy at all, and I felt like I wasn't obligate to anything I didn't want. They understood my vehicle needs, and catered to help me find the best possible vehicle in stock. I left feeling happy that I found a car I liked, and if I'm in the market for another vehicle, I would gladly go back to King Windward Nissan. More
In the 2 weeks my wife and I been shopping around for a new car (for her), we've encountered every sort of "car salesman", including disinterested ones who sized us up from the moment we entered, and pushy new car (for her), we've encountered every sort of "car salesman", including disinterested ones who sized us up from the moment we entered, and pushy aggressive salesmen that attempted to bury us in something beyond our means. At King Windward Nissan we were greeted in a friendly manner. The salesman was very well knowleged in his inventory and answered all our questions honestly and never direct us to anything we weren't interested in. I would like to put a particular emphasis that the salesman continued to provide excellent customer service and gave us additional incentives even AFTER we informed him of our decision to purchase. This is a SUPER PLUS in my book. Let me take the opportunity to share (vent) some of the experiences we had at some of the other dealers before and after visiting King Windward Nissan... ------------------------------------ -[a car well above our budget] "C'mon in and sit down and we'll make it work for you" [...groan] -[when asked about how long a special delivery will take] "about a month" [later] "two months" [later when explaining it to my wife] "maybe three months to play it safe" [note: salesman @ windward Nissan said 3 months from the start] -[when asked if they had a car in stock at a dealer in Kakaako] "it at our other lot (in Aiea), my manager told me to drive you there" [No thanks, maybe we'll take a look later] "If I don't take you there, I wont get credit for the sale" [Could you give me your business card and I'll be sure to give you credit] "um..." [Then hesitantly hand me his name and number handwritten on notepaper] -[upon seeing the Nissan Versa for the first time in a used car lot] "This car is going for $12,000" [my wife falls in love with the car and joyously praises it] "Oh I'm think I'm mistaken, it's $13,000" -------------------------- Don't get me wrong, we had good experiences at many dealers as well, these were just the worst that stick out in our minds. :D Simply put, King Windward Nissan friendliest sales team best inventory (smaller than others... but more VARIETY OF COLORS) icing on the cake... THE BEST PRICE... ADVERTISED!!! beat the other dealers with ZERO haggling!!! Thanks, you guys ROCK! A+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ More
Lahela was awesome from beginning to end! I filled out an online inquiry at about 7:30pm and received an email and call back before they closed at 8pm. Was approved for financing with great pricing before I even set foot inside the dealership - not your typical "preapproved" but spend 4 hours at the dealership filling out applications and waiting for approval. When I actually did go into the dealership the next day, I test drove the car, did all the paperwork, and drove off with my new ("used") vehicle in less than 1.5 hours! Would definitely recommend Lahela to everyone who wants friendly, fast, honest service when shopping for a new car - I know I will go see Lahela again if/when I need to upgrade! More
King Windward Nissan has some very nice and patient sells. Cheryl is one of them, a very funny yet honest and knowledgeable lady. She literally could answer every single question i asked.
