Whether it was a price that wasn't negotiable, or a car that wasn't my style, Blakely remained calm under pressure and ended up getting me settled in a 2014 Dodge Charger. In addition, the down payment price was tweaked and he managed to get it right within my budget. I will definitely tell all friends and family about my experience and suggest that they work with Mr. Blakely. I will never forget the kindness and professionalism that I was shown. More
Customer Service is Lacking I am happy with my product, the Toyota Sienna. I am not happy with the service that this dealership provided. First, the internet sales person, Sandi, was initially helpful. She came out to my home and showed me a van that I was interested in. I test drove it and everything seemed fine. The van had a DVD entertainment system in it that I didn’t want or need. I use the back area of the van for storage and did not want to pay for something I could not use. I have the seats taken out and have the seat tracks removed so storage can lay in the back area –flat. Sandi agreed to have this done to meet my needs. So I asked them to see if they had or could locate a different Toyota Sienna that I could purchase. This was when everything seemed to change. Sandi wanted me to commit to a purchase without even seeing the prospective van. She also told me that when the van came in that she would not bring it over to me to look at; she said I needed to come to her. I am 70+ years old and live in Hattiesburg. The dealership did get a van and I went over to drive it at their location. I loved it and agreed to the purchase. Sandi was getting the tracks removed in the service department and the service department made sure to complain to me about the time and energy that they had to expend in removing the tracks. I felt this was very unprofessional. The service department could not get the work done and have it ready until the next day so Sandi said she could bring me the van to Hattiesburg on the following day. I told her that I needed her to show me several things on the van when she delivered it. That I needed to learn to sync my cellphone to the van, how to fold the back seats down, where the spare tire was located, etc. So I made the purchase and was assured that she would assist with everything. When Sandi delivered the car the next day, she told me she was in a hurry. She kept telling me everything that I wanted to know was in the owner’s manual and she had another appointment at 1:00. She did not come prepared with the answers to my questions. She did not know her product. I felt that she was not there to help me as she said she would. I also told her that I needed to buy a tube of the touch up paint for future use. Sandi told me that she would find out how I could buy a tube. Twelve days went by before Sandi reached back to me about the touch up paint. Unacceptable. After my commitment of the purchase, the representatives of the dealership, have not showed me any “ Red Carpet Treatment”. I should have made the purchase at the Hattiesburg Toyota location. I had originally located their site online and thought I would give them a try. This was a huge mistake. This dealership seems to be interested in quantity of customer service instead of quality. I knew the exact car and features I wanted, so I requested quotes from five dealerships within 100 miles of my home, three of which were certified by my bank, USAA. True to their motto, Kim's cut right through the "bull" and offered me the exact vehicle I was looking for at a fair price that beat the competition. Everyone was very nice and friendly, even the car cleaning detail crew that ensure my new ride was spotless. After we came to an agreement, she offered to go and pick my dad and I something up to eat. Now, have you ever heard of a salesperson doing that?! Thank you Babs for everything!!! Remond was excellent in assisting me with all my questions and educating me on each vehicle I was interested in. He allowed me to test drive the two cars I was looking at. He also setup my Bluetooth phone connection in my new vehicle that I ended up buying. Remond was very easy to talk to and he understood my needs & wants in a vehicle. As a first time buyer I felt confident that I had made the right choice in a vehicle when I left the lot. I am so thankful for all the assistance and hospitality I received during my time at Kim's.
