I was trying to buy a new Kia, and he treated us like we should be grateful that he would even sell us a car. I wouldn’t buy a car from this dealership if it was the last car dealer on earth. More
My wife went to Kia of Stockton to get her oil changed. They followed up with her and she gave them the opportunity to earn her business and they did. The Salesman was good. He was newer to the business They followed up with her and she gave them the opportunity to earn her business and they did. The Salesman was good. He was newer to the business but he tried his best to answer all her questions. The issues started with the FINANCE MANAGER, ARMANDO and his UNETHICAL PRACTICES. My wife qualified for a 0% interest rate on her loan. But Armando told her that in order to qualify for the 0% interest rate she'd have to also purchase gap insurance, an extended warranty, and the oil service plan. If she did not get those "Extras" then she would have a lot higher interest rate. He said those services came with 0%. (That added an additional $3,000 to the loan.) Not understanding how these things work, she took the 0% and purchased the car. When I took a look at the docs and called a few friends in the car business, they informed me that the loan had NOTHING to do with those "extra services", but the FINANCE MANGER made money on selling these services. My wife then called Kia finance and was told the same thing. My wife and I tried calling ARMANDO numerous times and he was always out of the office or on vacation. He NEVER CALLED BACK. Finally, after numerous calls to Kia Finance, Kia of Stockton, and the extended warranty company we went down to Kia of Stockton. My wife had to sign cancellation paperwork which is understandable. The dealership REFUSED to give my wife a copy of the papers that she signed. He said it was a company policy. Luckily my wife was able to take a picture of the docs. Even though the warranty company sent the check to Kia of Stockton in October it still took 7 months for the money to get sent from Kia of Stockton to Kia Financial after the paperwork was signed(more than likely because he was paid for the deal and the money was going to be taken back). Basically this man LIED to my wife and used extremely unethical tactics to make sure he got paid because there is not much money to be made on a 0% loan, so the Finance Manager tries to include the extras. This man represents Kia of Stockton so I'm sure this isn't the first time Armando has done this, or the last time. It was in his power to do thing legitimately and our business would of went back to him. But instead we drove over an hour to Kia of Vacaville to purchase another Kia for my daughter. They were much more forthcoming with information. They actually and morals and ethics.(they actually told us that those services weren't needed to obtain another 0% loan). BEWARE OF THIS DEALERSHIP and really educate yourself or they might try to get you too. They give themselves, dealerships, and Stockton a bad name. The reason why we waited so long to write the review is because we've been waiting this long for the check to be applied to the loan. BEWARE check the Better Business Bureau. Their grade is F https://www.bbb.org/us/ca/stockton/profile/new-car-dealers/kia-of-stockton-1156-90035851 More
Leased a Car there 2 years ago .... Time to return called ahead of time and was told to come in. We get there and see the salesman and I assume his boss and they inform us the lease return person is off and ahead of time and was told to come in. We get there and see the salesman and I assume his boss and they inform us the lease return person is off and we will have to return later. We took two cars twenty miles to return my lease to where we bought it to be told the guy on the phone made a mistake. This place might be great at selling leases but very unprofessional on the return phase of the deal. The guy in charge suggested we return it to Manteca a dealer I did not buy it from. .... maybe I will and buy my next car there. More

I was aware there would be some negative equity in my truck before I even arrived at the dealership. I was asked to give them a little time after their first offer of 43k for my truck, less than 12 hours later I get a call from my sales rep that they are now offering 37K for my truck, thats right 6k less than yesterday. When I asked to speak with Ray it was very clear he wouldnt take my call and had Jim call me back to tell me he has a couple customers but they are sorry they cannot make a deal. I will never recommend this place to anyone and will never do business with them. If i could give a negative rating I would. More
RUN AWAY! Jim was very nice and pleasant to work with but the sales manager didn't even bother to come out to introduce himself to my wife and I. The sales mana Jim was very nice and pleasant to work with but the sales manager didn't even bother to come out to introduce himself to my wife and I. The sales manager was hurling insults at our sales guy because I was negotiating. He got extra mad when I told Him that we didn't want an extended warranty. After I asked for the extended warranty to be removed, the sales manager tried to sneak a "Full Kia Warranty" in the deal hoping I wouldn't notice. I use to work in the car industry and this sales manager is by far the worst I have experienced. Bad ethics, bad customer service from management and a greedy place. Please run from this place before they sucker you into a bad deal. More

The email also stated, verbatim "dont forget you are a lifetime oil member"...meaning I should get free oil changes for life, right? WRONG. apparently, according to Ron, a very rude "service advisor" there, "oh, they send that email out to everyone"...so, check your loan paperwork to see if you are actually a lifetime oil member, before trusting what the company itself tells you in an email...I guess Ron didn't want me complaining, because he gave me my tire rotation free, and only had to pay for an oil change (even though I went in there thinking it would be free)....at least I got a deal. That's the only good thing I could say I experienced through Ron. So. On to the customer service aspect of it...I've never been to the service center before. This is my first time. I dont know where to park, what to do. So I park under the service center sign. I'm met with Ron, who has his hand out, I'm thinking to greet me. So, I say "hi. I have a 1 o'clock appt for an oil change"...he says "keys"....oh, so that's why your hands out. Not to greet me, to take my keys. He gets in the car, does what he has to do while I wait wondering if I'm supposed to wait outside with him or go inside. I decide to wait outside. And luckily he starts walking back inside so I follow him. He fills out some paperwork and then just points to where I'm supposed to sign. I sign, and he tells me theres refreshments to the left and leaves. An hour and 40 minutes later, my oil change and tire rotation is finally done (with an appt, I think that's crazy it took that long, although ron did tell me there was a recall and it shouldn't add much time) what the recall was? I have no idea, he never told me!...that's when all the "lifetime oil member" stuff I mentioned earlier came up. They rely on snacks and beverages to make up for their poor customer service. I felt like I was in a walmart where every employee hated their job and dealing with people. I never, ever write reviews and I apologize for the long one, but this experience prompted me to write this one. I will never return (even if I did get lifetime oil changes). I'll stick to Oilstop, I'd rather pay a bit more for friendliness and feel like im being treated with respect...and when I'm ready to upgrade my kia, maybe I'll go somewhere for a new car since I know how bad their service dept is.
