I had a great experience at Kia of Stockton when I bought my Kia K5. Rick contacted me stating that they had the car was looking for. Unfortunately, it was Rick's off day so Oscar helped me. I do not recommend going here. Kia Country in Manteca is much better if you want a quality dealership that won't upcharge you for every oil change you get. Long story: I went t Kia Country in Manteca is much better if you want a quality dealership that won't upcharge you for every oil change you get. Long story: I went to Kia Stockton for all my Kia needs after buying a 2023 Kia Sportage Hybrid. They wanted to charge me $800 for my first oil change with a brand new car. I told them I just needed an oil change, but they insisted and said they could do $500. Then came the real issue. There was a recall on my car that involved how the computer connected to the battery system, and Kia Stockton said they performed it, and even checked that it was completed in my car's internal computer history. However when I started having issues with it and needed a diagnostic check they said it would take weeks, and they couldn't get me a loaner. So I went to Kia Country in Manteca. They performed it in 1 day and gave me a loaner. Turns out Kia Stockton never performed the recall and that was why I was having issues. So Kia Country installed the recall update and I had to pay the diagnostic fee. After reaching out to Kia of Stockton and seeking legal advice, they never responded to me so here I am. Still waiting to hear back. DO NOT TRUST THIS DEALERSHIP. More
