Our jeep cherokee was on its last legs so we wanted a new car went to Kia. We just moved from Green Bay, Wis. and we looked at a Kia Sorrento up there but it was way to expensive and we could not afford it t car went to Kia. Patricia White was extremely helpful and very friendly. She really knows what she is doing. So, she hooked us up with the finance guy (he was nice also) and we bought the sorrento. We purchased our Kia Sportage new from Kia Country in 2006. Since we now live a significant distance from Kia Country, it becomes a chore to coordinate when my wife will "give up" the Sportage for a day 2006. Since we now live a significant distance from Kia Country, it becomes a chore to coordinate when my wife will "give up" the Sportage for a day and coordinate that with a service appointment. Fairly recently a new Kia dealership opened up in our town. I had several oil changes and one 30,000 mile service routine performad at that local dealership. All seemed well. Then at around 80,000 miles the car developed a characteristic I could only describe as feeling like one front wheel was driving the car and then the other, resulting in a very unstable driving experience. I took the car in to the "local" Kia dealership for diagnosis and was told the car needed tires. "How Many?" I asked. "All four" was the response. "How much?" "About $120 each, or close to $500." Since I knew I could get a better price at another place, I declined to purchase them from the dealer. When I arrived ast the tire dealer's location I explained my problem. He looked at my tires, pronounced "nothing wrong with them" and asked to drive the vehicle. After about 200 yds he said "You've got at least one bad front axle.". He didn't have the facilities to fix the problem and sent me down the street to another location; same explanation ... same diagnosis! At that point I drove 20+ miles to the other end of town to Kia Country. I explained the situation, they checked it out, contacted Kia USA, and determined that they would replace BOTH front axles at no charge to me. After that determination I returned to my local dealer and asked them what their next step would have been after $500 worth of new tires didn't fix the problem. The general manager's response was that "they would have dug into it further and fixed it?!". He had no answer when asked about the new tires I didn't need. That is why Stokes Kia in my home town of Goose Creek, SC, will NEVER AGAIN service my vehicle. Nor will I EVER purchase a vehicle from them. More

We were exhausted, worn out, and frankly- tired of looking for a car that was the perfect fit. When we came to Kia and met with Ms. Patricia White, it was a relief. She was great. Everybody was friendly. They didn't put too much pressure on us. And at the end of the day, after several trips back and forth from other dealerships and this one, we ended up going with a used car from them. And as of right now, I'd say that it was a great decision. Good experience overall. More

Charlie was very knowledgeable about the vehicle and answered all my questions. I did not feel the "hard sell" which made me feel comfortable and listened to. I feel that I bought the vehicle at a good price and was glad that Charlie and the staff at Kia were willing to work with me and find the right fit for me. Charlie also came in on his day off to meet me as my schedule is so hectic. How rare is that? My days off too valuable to me. I will most definetly recommend KIA and Charlie. More

I was looking for a 2011 sportage and I originally went to the Stokes Kia dealer in simply because it was closer. At any rate I was very unhappy with the way I was treated and the customer service there le to the Stokes Kia dealer in simply because it was closer. At any rate I was very unhappy with the way I was treated and the customer service there leaves alot to be desired. I still wanted the sportage so I went to Kia Country in Charleston, and there I was greeted by Mr Arnold where he handled the transaction with the professionalism and great customer service. I will shop there again if I ever decide to grade up from the sportage. Thanks Kellie Polzin More
Derek was an amazing person to work with. He was honest and forthright with us and we never felt that "Oh no, here comes the salesman..." feeling. I referred a friend to him and he went out of his way to help her buy her car too. This Kia dealership is a great place to buy a car and the Optima we bought has been perfect.
