I purchased a 2013 Kia Optima for my wife a week ago and I was so impressed with The overall performance and quality of the vehicle, here I am a week later purchasing a second Kia Optima for myself. Elijah worked with me on the price of my new vehicle and in the end, we could come up with an agreement that had me leaving with a new Soul AND within my total budget. The other dealers in the area didn't in the end, we could come up with an agreement that had me leaving with a new Soul AND within my total budget. I would definitely recommend Kia Country to others because the staff were extremely helpful and efficient in how they worked together. I got a new car in about 2 hours time! I chose Kia Country of Charleston over Kia Myrtle Beach because my offer was not accepted up here in Myrtle Beach, but was by Kia Country. I would go on to reccomend Kia country because of the total buying because my offer was not accepted up here in Myrtle Beach, but was by Kia Country. I would go on to reccomend Kia country because of the total buying experience from Courtney on line and on the phone, to Elijah delivering my Sportage all the way up here to my home in Surfside Beach. Thanks again! More
Located in SAvannah, Ga and working well over 70 hours a week, did not leave me much time to find what we were looking for, let alone drive over 100mi to go see something we were interested. Sam, met us hal week, did not leave me much time to find what we were looking for, let alone drive over 100mi to go see something we were interested. Sam, met us halfway with the vehicle, and was never pushy. Once we agreed to purchase the car, Sam delivered the vehicle (100+ miles away), we signed the paperwork, and off he went. The following day I noted a problem with the car, and Sam began setting up arrangments to ensure it was repaired. We are still in process of working on the repair logistics, but Sam has set something up (he'll come pick up the car) to ensure my satisfaction! In all my years, I have never had a salesman as professional and understanding as Sam, Good job Sam! More
We recently purchased our second vehicle from your dealership for our daughter who was going away to college. We based our decision to use Kia on our past great experiences with my Wife's Kia and Kia dealership for our daughter who was going away to college. We based our decision to use Kia on our past great experiences with my Wife's Kia and Kia of Charleston. Our experience was ,as expected, great with the sales department. The service department was just the opposite. Although the vehicle we bought was used, it had very low mileage and appeared to be in good mechanical order. The Service Dept took 4 or 5 days to get the car "in shape" which included some body work. The Sales dept was most accomodating, even loaning a car for our use and personally delivering our car to my daughter in Beaufort. (Really great customer service). The issues began with the Service dept when the "check engine"light came on in the car and it began to have problems starting. Service deemed the issue to be spark plugs. Soon thereafter the light came on again and same symptoms began. Here's where the Service Dept failed miserably. My wife was told "the whole engine bay is visibly sparking like a Christmas tree from the ignition coil". My wife asked why,if just recently the car had been checked over twice, this problem was not found. The technician stated in a condascending tone" well, repairing cars is like treating sick people" and began an analogy to car repain and medicine. My wife informed this person that not only was she a therapist, her husband (myself) is a trauma nurse and his tone was unappreciated. Not once was her question regarding diagnosing the car answered in a straightforward manner. Three days later I brought my daughter to pick up her car, paid another 100 dollar deductable for service that should have beeen done right initially and left. But not before popping the hood and looking things over myself (I'm not an ASE mechanic, but I have rebuilt a few engines and trucks in my day and know my way around )> I don't think your technicians liked me insepcting their work, but what do you expect. Within 30 minute the light was back on and my daughter returned to Kia (as instructed by myself)and met by my wife. Once again the car was repaired( promptly this time as it was a blown fuse... I'm sure the wanted them gone). So the question is : my daughter leaves for Virginia on Friday, if the car breaks down how do you plan on alleviating the problem professionally without an attitude to my family. Furthermore one would think that since we bought a warrantee with the car it would encourage you to fix it right the first time. Seems like you have lost some money and time somewhere in this process. Rest assured we have only high praises for the Sales Team and will most likely use Kia for another car in the future. Your Service dept has proven itself lately to be rude to my family and almost as inept as Palmetto Ford's service Dept. More
