I was blown away went in expecting the same old crap you get at dealerships, not here. We went in told our situation what we had what we could do and they listened! No hassling, no nagging and most of no line of BS straight forward across the board. They did not ask what we couldnt give they worked within our guidelines not thiers. We are very impressed with they overall expierence we received at KIA Country of Charleston, thier staff is friendly, understanding, very fast we were in and out not sitting all day or tellings us to come back that was great. Most of all they went above and beyond what we expected to make sure they could find us a car we like and most all we could afford, they were not just all about getting the sale, they were about us and what we needed. Thanks so much guys your are the best we will be back and telling everyone we know that they need to come see you. More
We originally contacted Courtney online, and she was most helpful in providing additional information. When we arrived at the dealership the first time, she introduced us to Elijah, who worked hard to show u helpful in providing additional information. He was knowledgeable and helpful, but not overly pushy. He answered questions we didn't know we had. We were not ready to make a decision, so did not buy the first visit, and Elijah was respectful of this. He continued to nicely follow up with us and answer questions, but was not overly aggressive. When we were ready to make a decision, Courtney worked hard to get us the best price she could, so we knew what was available and what the price would be before we got to the dealership. Once there, Elijah again was very nice and knowledgeable, willing to talk through all the options and pricing, and was very patient while we decided what we wanted to do. They were helpful, knowledgeable, and gave us a great price on the car. We would definitely go back to them. More
I had a light coming on and called the service center and spoke to Mitch. He told me to come on in and he would work me in. I think he may have been new because I had never seen him before. I try to always have my Sedona serviced at Kia Country. They always do an exceptional job and are friendly. They always do their best to accommodate me. More
1. Courtney, whom I had spoken with on the phone, indicated she would be at the dealership that day, she wasn't. I had to meet with someone else that I had not met before and I didn't like that. I wanted to meet the woman I had spoken to and handle my business with her and her alone. 2. Frank was a little too over powering, I didn't find him to be friendly and easy to work with at all. My friend and I had asked for the invoice of the car we were looking at, which was the black on black 2013 that was STILL on the lot. He stated in all of this 3 years that he had worked there that he had never been asked by a customer to see the invoice. After we demanded to see it was when he produced it. If that invoice had not been produced, I would've left at that very moment. Invoice in hand we discussed price. We also discussed financing. I had made a decision to finance through State Farm and he indicated he could do better as far as interest rates go. I was very dedicated to my State Farm financing. He proceeded to mock me as to my loyalty to State Farm and how I didn't want to finance through Kia. He then brought Daniel into the picture who I had to repeat my name 3 times because he kept forgetting it. KIMBERLI PINDER! He also mocked me and belittled me by indicating my financing through State Farm was crazy and that I should finance with Kia. We were all playing with numbers and he stated I would be paying somewhere in the $300 range. I did my numbers and they didn't seem as bad. I know my math may have been wrong but I don't need someone to say to me, in front of my friend, "Well, you obviously have your numbers wrong!" I told him I could not afford the price he was showing me and he immediately proceeded to jump out of his chair and said "Well, sorry there's nothing we can do for you. Good luck out there!" 3. This is one of the most miserable experiences I've ever had in the dealership world!!! I would never go back to Kia Country or recommend them to any of my friends, family or co-workers! Believe me, my spreading of the experience has already started. 4. On a final note, I went to Stokes Kia. Found a beautiful white 2014 Kia Soul in my price range! Their customer service was AMAZING! And you know what else, they were so good to me that I did actually finance through them and saved a ton of money!!! Stokes Kia is the BEST in Charleston not Kia Country of Charleston!!! More
My husband and I went on a Sunday to test drive some vehicles since my lease with Lexus was almost up. I really did a lot of research on different vehicles and Kia was on my list. That same day we end vehicles since my lease with Lexus was almost up. I really did a lot of research on different vehicles and Kia was on my list. That same day we ended up leasing a beautiful dark cherry Sorrento. Lance Williams was our sales person and was extremely knowledgable but not pushy at all. We test drove the Sorrento and it not only had all the features of my Lexus but some added features. With a very reasonable price. Lance was excellent to work with and has called to see how everything was going. The rest of the people at this dealership very friendly, knowledgable and we felt we were treated well by the financial person. No pressure just good salesmanship and felt we got a fair deal. Would definately look at another Kia after my lease is up. More
Before we visited Kia Country of Charleston, we had no intention on purchasing a vehicle. We simply wanted to test drive a Sorento and see if we even liked the car in the first place. As soon as we arrived on the lot (it was dark, around 6:30pm) we were greeted by a friendly Salesman, Ken. We had done our research before hand and knew what the car was worth and what to expect. Ken led us directly to the vehicle we had described and got the keys within seconds. My wife drove during the test drive first. Ken led us on many types of roads (neighborhoods, highways, parking lots, interstate) so we could get comfortable if we purchased the vehicle. We loved the car, talked numbers (which were very reasonable). Paperwork was a breeze. Ken took care of the car while we were speaking with Jeremy in finance. Jeremy helped us decide on a great protection plan for our vehicle that was affordable and that met our needs. Shortly after paperwork was complete, Ken met us outside in our detailed vehicle with a full tank of gas to show my wife and I how to sync our phones to the car's Bluetooth. The total time from when we drove on the lot to the time we drove off the lot was about 1 hour (considerably quick for any dealership). There was no hassle, no stress to buy. Our experience was completely worry free. Thank you Ken and Jeremy for your help in putting my wife and I in an awesome vehicle. More
We started our car purchase process at another KIA dealership and were very dissapointed in the price and in the sales staff. I've been servicing my Kia almost exclusively at Kia Country service department since purchasing my car, 5 years ago. The only misstep that has happened was this past time for an oil change. While I was able to argue to get a very small, but very annoying issue taken care of, it took a good bit of arguing with the service person as to why it should be taken care of without charge. It was a known problem in my year, make and model (I even brought in a Kia technical bulletin that addressed the problem.) and I had only passed the warranty of those types of issues by 4 months/3000 miles. I feel that it should have been a non-issue and that the part would have been very inexpensive for the service department to take care of. For the sake of good customer service, I think that it should have been offered to be remedied without a fight. Other than that, they have always been extremely friendly, timely and compenent in their service. More
