We fell victim to “Spot Financing” and had to return the car I was helping my sister get a car and we were looking at 2-3 year old low mile used vehicles when I saw an ad for the new Optima at $199/month lease. We stopped into Kia Carland on November 3rd, 2014 (Her Birthday) to see how real this was. After test driving a few Optima’s my sister settled in on one with the convenience package which would have made the monthly payment $235. We agreed to the deal and my sister warned first the salesman and then the business manager that she had bad credit due to unpaid medical bill from cancer. They said it should not be a problem because the leasing is done by Kia Leasing and they control the process unlike companies that use a third party finance company. She got a call a week later that she needed to come in so they could do some adjustments to the deal due to financing problems. I went with her and after a long wait met with the business manager. He said they could only do a purchase deal at $398 per month, way outside her budget. She was ready to give the car back and get her car back but they said they would try to work out other options. I even offered to cosign since I have strong credit and they said they would let me know in the morning. Another few days went by and I contact them with another promise given to have details in the morning. Again, like every other time someone said they would do something, they did not keep their word. I told my sister just drive and enjoy the car since it was still theirs and at some point someone would want this to come to resolution. Yesterday, November 17th, we got a call that offered a lease at $295/month with me cosigning when we were previously told it would be no problem to honor the original lease with my credit score. Today we got her car back and turned in the car she “bought” - 15 days and 830 miles later. This is a scam and if you do an internet search for “Spot Financing” or “Yo-Yo Financing” it is sadly a common practice, even with “reputable” dealers. Even more sad it only works when they prey on people with lower credit scores that are the least likely to be able to afford the high payments. The goal is that you fall in love with the car and don’t want to see your old car again so you agree to the new terms. Overall everyone was pleasant to deal with but it was a huge waste of time for everyone involved and a very unethical business practice. Avoid unless you have excellent credit and make them provide a letter saying financing is complete before you drive “your new car” off the lot. More

I bought it brand new on March 1st, 2013 from Roswell Kia, which is now North Fulton Kia. I get all my services and issues fixed at North Fulton done but every single time there has been an issue! My headunit was malfunctioning so I got it replaced. But when it was being taken out, they damaged every corner of my dash board. They wrote down what needed to be fixed and said they would give me a call. They never did. I didn't ask them a third time about it because it was such a hassle. Next, my spoiler brakelight stopped working so I got it repaired. This was this past Monday. I was washing my car Tuesday and right by the left side of my spoiler, there are 3 bumps (on my actual trunk lid). It looks like a screwdriver was banged through the inside because all 3 bumps are raised and one of them has cracked the paint. I would just like to say every single time I have been to get my car issues fixed, I always leave there with another one. Not satisfied AT ALL with their service department. More
Slow Service, No Return Calls, No help to new GA resident I just moved to GA and bought a car from this dealership and was thankful when they said they would take care of all the items so I could get a new p I just moved to GA and bought a car from this dealership and was thankful when they said they would take care of all the items so I could get a new plate for my car. I should have known something was wrong when I sat for 2 hours waiting for them to even start to process paperwork when I bought my vehicle. The system in GA to get registration and a plate is much more complicated than the one in MI where it is easy one stop shopping for liscence and plate and we don't have extra testing or taxes. I was told I would have my paperwork in plenty of time to go and get my tags. Days of calling after getting nothing in mail and with my temporary tag expiring led me to leaving message after message to try and resolve this. I would have done it on my own but I didn't even have all the necisarry paperwork and reality is it was a daunting task to try and figure out the GA system when the dealership should have taken care of it. If someone would have at least called me back to say we are working on it that would have been nice but they took my money for the car and don't care after that. I will NEVER buy from them again. Now I am left to try and figure this out on my own with my temporary expiring tomorrow. More
I went to North Fulton Kia on a cold rainy Monday morning after seeing a 2012 Jeep Wrangler on Auto Trader. I walked in the front door and was greeted by Tyson Burch. He knew the car I was looking for and had it pulled up front right away. We were driving it in less than 10 minutes of my arrival. We went on road and off ( gravel trail ) and he knew the Jeep pretty well. It was my first stop to buy a jeep and I did not think they would meet my numbers with my trade. They surprised me after 15 minutes of negotiating and the Jeep was mine! They did a great job. The only complaint I would have is the showroom is too casual for me. Trash TV showing in the lobby and not much privacy during our negotiating. I prefer the atmosphere of a financial institute. Classical music and some cool magazines would be nice. Anyway, they got the job done and that is what counts. Great job! More
Instantly felt comfortable with Janice. She was very knowledgable and friendly but not at all pushy or the typical "salesman-like" personality that I don't like. I received great Service at North Fulton Kia, Jerome really worked with me as for as pricing and also with getting me specifics of what I wanted. Went to Kia not sure what I wanted to get. Worked with Justin who was very helpful... We left and Justin gave a gracious follow up call a few days later... Nice change to the guy helping us at a different Justin who was very helpful... We left and Justin gave a gracious follow up call a few days later... Nice change to the guy helping us at a different dealership who was too pushy. We returned the following Saturday and spent a few hours test driving and discussing. Justin was extremely patient with us and never made me feel pressured. We made a decision and can't be happier! I love my new car! Thank you Justin and everyone at Kia for helping us! :-) More
