Big Communication Issues Had an appt. a few months ago to have a recall part replaced as per the manufacture. (Initially, the Service Dept. didn't want to do this and told me that it wasn't needed. I called back again after going home and re-reading the notice that Ford had sent me advising that this be done) Arrived at the correct time and date that I was given the appt. for and I was told that I wasn't on the schedule. I was questioned as to whom I spoke with, and what their name was, but since it was several weeks after I made the appt. I had forgotten the name.(Made me feel like I was being interrogated) A new appt was made for a Monday morning two weeks from then. Again I arrived on time in the afternoon, and they were searching for paperwork for my vehicle. Then I was told that the part wasn't delivered the day before (deliveries on Sunday ?) and I was one of five people whose parts didn't come in.(Made to feel like hey, I wasn't the only one inconvenienced. I did ask why I wasn't called earlier in the day and notified that they would have to cancel, but I didn't get a direct answer). Another appt was sched., and this time the part was replaced without any issues. A week or so later, I received a phone call telling me that the wrong part was put in (the manufacture sent them the wrong part I was told) and I would have to bring my vehicle back in once again. I was given an 8am appointment, and I was told "we gave you an early appt., so that we can get you in and out early in the day and then you can be on your way !" Drove there on snowy roads and arrived at 0745 and I left my van. It was supposed to be an hour and a half job. I was called at TWO P.M. !!! Their shuttle driver did pick me up in my vehicle, and I was told that 'they had several emergencies." I asked two different people why I wasn't at least called and notified that it would be later in the day and the several emergency story was repeated. Although they are very nice there, I am just not feeling the love. When and if I purchase another Ford product, I will definitely shop around for a dealership that has a good reputation for its service dept. More
Disappointed I purchased my expedition with them and every time I call for service it's always three weeks out for an app. Even for something as simple as an oil c I purchased my expedition with them and every time I call for service it's always three weeks out for an app. Even for something as simple as an oil change. When I had to have service there for issue with my wiper motor I had to wait three weeks to get an appointment and when I cam in they said it would be an hr so I can back an 1 1/2 hrs later to find that they hadn't even started it yet. I'd think after waiting three weeks for an appointment at least they could get on it. More
Bait & Switch I have worked with this dealership to buy two vehicles over the last two years. The first time, two years ago, the mileage on the online description w I have worked with this dealership to buy two vehicles over the last two years. The first time, two years ago, the mileage on the online description was off by 20,000 miles (and not in right direction). So when I went to look at the car I wasn't interested because of the high miles. I did end up buying a different car, that I have been happy with. That said, the car I ended up purchasing was $8,000 more expensive, but that was my call. The second time, about a year ago, there was a great deal advertised online. I called and they said the vehicle was still available. We got there and the vehicle was mysteriously gone and no one knew what happened. They showed us some other vehicles, and we walked out with a BRAND new vehicle and my head was spinning on how I ended up spending $15,000 more than I intended to. So today, I see a pretty great deal on a vehicle online. I call, the vehicle is still available. I ask them to work up pricing and financing. They come back with a number that was WAY higher than I expected. When I ask why, they tell me the price online is a typo and the actual price is over $4,000 more. I think I need to learn my lesson. Seems like a lot of bait and switch going on and I'm not willing to overspend a third time. BEWARE!!! More

DealerRate should investigate those reviews. Service is just as bad. Scheduled an appointment, brought the car in the night before and it took two days to perform service. Then they tried charging for it, although it was covered under the warranty. Awful, awful, awful. Go anywhere else. Confederate flags in the parts area just added to the miserable experience. Hands down Rockland ford is where it's at! Rockland Ford is hands-down the best dealership I've ever dealt with. I have bought two Ford F3 50s from them. Not one time did I ever feel pressured into buying a vehicle. Tony Esposito is the man he will play ball and get you the best deal with the best interest-rate. They have always taken very good care of me no matter what's happened. I have lots of friends that I purchased vehicles there they've all had great experiences. I will definitely be buying a third truck from them in the future. More
