I recently returned to Boardwalk Acura in Egg Harbor Twp, NJ to exchange a 2009 Acura TL SH-AWD(Super Handling-All Wheel Drive) car for a new 2010 Acura TL with front wheel drive. I had leased the car fr NJ to exchange a 2009 Acura TL SH-AWD(Super Handling-All Wheel Drive) car for a new 2010 Acura TL with front wheel drive. I had leased the car from them in January 2009. Unfortunately, within a short time of taking possession of the SH-AWD TL, I realized that it was not the right car for me. I didn't need SH-AWD performance and didn't like the car's heavier ride. My lease expired in April 2012, but I was unwilling to pay penalties to get out of it. In early February, I received an email from Boardwalk Acura General Sales Manager Bill Becker. It offered to swap my TL for a new TL for the same lease fee. Knowing my feelings about the SH-AWD, I jumped at the chance. While the monthly front wheel lease would remain the same as the SH-AWD lease, I would get a new car and the promotion program would absorb any early penalty fees. Although it was a year later, Becker immediately recognized me when I entered the showroom. Upon hearing my story, he then arranged for me to test drive a front-wheel TL for a day, just to be sure. Sales associate Bill Shoemaker coordinated the loaner. Almost instantly, I realized that the smoother, lighter front-wheel TL was better suited to my driving habits and preferences. Becker quickly obtained the same color TL with the tech package, and we signed the papers within two days. It was a smooth transaction, and I am happy to be out of a lease that was clearly a mistake for me. Shoemaker then did a good job of handling the logistics-the transfer of my license tags, new insurance registration, subsequent demonstrations of technology, etc. Becker and company at Boardwalk Acura show concern for their customers. It goes beyond just selling a vehicle, as they all realize that a positive ongoing relationship increases their future sales, referrals and service. How refreshing in these economic times. Last year, my new SH-AWD TL had some technical problems. As so often happens, there were some glitches. However, the Boardwalk Acura staff worked to correct them within a short time, and I never had to return to address them. So, I would definitely recommend Boardwalk Acura for those looking for a new car. The cars are attractive, the prices are competitive, the follow-up is good and they are willing to work for their customers' business. More

We drove an hour and a half to NJ to look a TL that was being sold as we drove in. What a bummer. However, after just glancing at something completely different,we drove off in a beautiful 2007 MDX. We appreicate the time she took to go on 3 seperate test drives as my mother tried to make up her mind. The entire experience was relatvely quick and simple, with no pressure or haggling involved. It was acutally a pleasure to buy a car! I just wish they were closer so I could use them for service! More

She had recently had a bad accident and was a pretty achy camper and under any circumstances, it's tough to figure her out when she's making a major purchase. Mary treated her very well and was very patient in answering all of her questions. We had to make two separate trips a week apart for a test ride so this was no slam-dunk. We were having a somewhat tough time in choosing between two cars - the TSX that she finally bought and an unnamed brand that advertises AWD like crazy. Finding an APPROXIMATION of the car that she wanted in the latter brand/dealer network was just plain PAINFUL. At Boardwalk, we made it quite clear we weren't finally decided so it took a while. We never got the in-your-face high pressure sales approach or the "we don't care if you buy it here or not" approach. What we experienced was just a discussion about the car, asking us if were satisifed and a low-impact discussion about the price. You know the feeling of dread that you get when the "Sales Manager" comes in for "THE CLOSE?" Well, Bill couldn't have been nicer. Given all of that, we just looked at each other and we bought her a car. I should add that the other brand that we were looking at was being lowballed REALLY hard and we could have saved a couple of thousand bucks. Too painful, not the right car, etc. Besides, of the three dealers that we visited personally, this was the ONLY store that had customers in it besides us. And one of the other dealers is a mega dealer. Makes sense to us now. More

At the time of closing the deal, my actual monthly payment was even less then stated at first. I'm confident that I will love this new vehicle and look forward to a very congenial 3 years with all parties involved. A side from the personnel who assisted me in leasing the vehicle, everyone was very helpful and very nice and respectful to me. I left feeling very satisfied, inside, of my decision. More

She was very accomodating to all of our questions and concerns as well as expertly knowledgeable of the vehicle itself. We also would like to extend our praise to Sean McDole, business manager at boardwalk, who made the final paperwork opitions and warranties understandable.
