2 hour oil change I came to get my oil changed and my recall taken care of. A simple software update. I was there for 2 hours and the recall wasn't even taken care of. I came to get my oil changed and my recall taken care of. A simple software update. I was there for 2 hours and the recall wasn't even taken care of. In fact, they didn't even mention to me that they didn't perform the recall work. I had to look over the document they gave me when I left to realize it wasn't done. 73 dollars for an oil change is excessive as well. Apparently volkswagen replaces the oil pan drain plug every time you get your oil changed. Am I the only person who has never heard of this practice? Every other car I've ever owned has worked fine and used the same drain plug for the life of the vehicle. Sounds like a way to make an extra 5 bucks to me. Overall... I am not satisfied. I won't be returning for anything short of total vehicle failure. I hope it's due to recall faults. That'd be icing on the cake. More
