After initially checking in with the service advisor he was gonna bring some paperwork I needed to sign to the waiting area. He never did. I ended up going out to him since he hadn’t returned after quite a while. He made some excuse as to why he hadn’t returned and gave me what I needed to sign to authorize the work. He then came to waiting area again with some service that was recommended other than the oil change n tire rotation that I had gone in for. After he explained everything and I asked some questions I was surprised as the car was only 2 1/2 years old. I’ve had different Altimas (3 yrs at a time) over 12 years n have never had those recommendations. After I declined the recommendations and looked further at the sheet I saw that it would’ve cost $1099. That was never mentioned by the service advisor I had also asked that a tire cap be replaced which was not done. Also the key fob battery was supposedly replaced. When I started the car it still showed low battery. When I asked about that I was told they’d have to do an evaluation at $160. I walked off at that point. I felt they just wanted more money. More

I purchased my vehicle from Bob Rohman;s Kenosha Nissan and took my car in for service on friday October 28th, 2022 for an oil change and to be looked over. I was told I needed other services including tir and took my car in for service on friday October 28th, 2022 for an oil change and to be looked over. I was told I needed other services including tire rotation, battery maintenance, Brake fluid exchange, fuel system cleaning, cabin filter replacement and walked out with a $539.00 bill. The next day Saturday Oct 29th 2022 drove to Wisconsin Dells from Greenfield and On Sunday October 30th, 2022 my check engine light came on and nothing was open on Sunday evening. I contacted Dealer and spoke to Ken Bosshart at Bob Rohrmans Kenosha Nissan in the service dept who has also assisted me with original maintenance and I informed me of light on and that I thought it was odd 2 days after service the light came on, he became defensive and hostile & immediately insisted that Bob Rohrman service department had done nothing wrong and that it was probably a bad sensor of which I said the car has 16,000 miles and he said it happens all of the time and I should take to nearest dealer which was more than an hour plus away. Ken Bosshart was defensive, hostile, condescending, unhelpful and told me I should take it to the nearest dealer which was more than an hour away. I left car sit until Nov3rd, 2022 and had to drive vehicle home and I had made an appointment with Gordie Boucher Nissan which was closer and located in Greenfield and after my contact with the service dept at Bob Rohman's I did not trust that they would help or admit they caused the issue. Gordie Boucher informed me Bob Rorhman's caused the light to go on because they found to have vacum leak in intake tube due to breather hose being left off of air intake, &tube needed base idle reset and reattach breather tube and reset idle 7 lower splash clips missing rt side 2 small and 2 large and I was told that this the service would not covered under my Nissan warranty and it would cost $226.50 because the dealer that serviced the vehicle caused the issues & since I needed my vehicle for work as I am in Real estate and would not be covered under my Nissan warranty I had to pay the $226.50 I was held hostage and didn't want to drive another 35 min to Kenosha & after my experience with contacting Bob Rorhmans. The next day friday November 4th after repair i drove to Rohrman Nissan and spoke to service manager regarding the issue and my experience and he informed me this was not the norm but the other dealer (Gordie Boucher) over charged me and they should have contacted Bob Rorhmans and he took a copy of my invoice and said he would get back to me. Today Is Wens November 16th, 2022 and I have received no follow up or any reimbursement check.. I gave them the opportunity to resolve this issue step up and improve on the prior poor customer service experience and reimburse me the $226.50 for the additional service required they caused. I appears once I paid the $539.22 they washed their hands and it wasn't their problem. I purchase my car from this dealer and I drove out of my way to get my car serviced at Bob Rorhmans and they now have lost a customer for life and will warn anyone who considers this dealership. More
