Will never try and buy another car from the KG auto group. What a complete waste of time I had there, horrible saleswoman I was trying to work with, complete dishonesty in every way. A total waste of nearly 3hrs of my time only to be told the car I was interested in was already sold, even let me test drive the car knowing xxxx well it was sold. And wouldn't work with me at all on pricing, not even 1 dollar off asking price!!! I would never recommend anyone shop for a vehicle at KG Nissan ever! What an awful experience! So glad to go to another dealer where I was treated right, and bought a MUCH better car that same day, and get this they worked with me on pricing, and actually listened to me! More
-There are better places to get a car from- Pros: + Salesman and finance manager made it very easy to manage the purchase of this car online/from a distance + Courtesy shuttle driver was very pleasant Salesman and finance manager made it very easy to manage the purchase of this car online/from a distance + Courtesy shuttle driver was very pleasant when he picked me up from the airport to bring me to the dealership Cons: - absolutely zero service after the sale - salesman more or less vanished from the face of the earth after the sale was finished when I told him the car had an issue, communication pretty much halted to nothing; would often be days or a week between communications with the salesman once the sale was finished. - the car suffered a bit of damage the day I arrived to pick it up, and has yet to be addressed a month and a half later when I was promised that it would be taken care of promptly - was promised the Carfax vehicle history report by two different staff members (salesman and finance associate), though never did actually get to see the Carfax My experience with Ken Garff Nissan is as follows: I found a car on Autotrader that I liked for sale at this dealership. After a few conversations with the salesman, I signed papers to purchase a car from Ken Garff Nissan of Salt Lake in mid December of 2021 after the salesman assured me that the car is free from any major issues besides little nicks or dings or scratches from normal wear. He said this to me in writing. Each day leading up to the sale, the salesman (whom, out of a sense of respect which was clearly not mutual, shall remain anonymous in this review) was quick to answer my questions via text or email at any time of day, every single day or night or weekend, and more than willing to help me get into this car. I mailed back the papers I signed and I flew one-way from North Dakota to SLC on January 11th and was taken to the dealership via their courtesy vehicle. I'm waiting in the showroom, when the salesman tells me that while he was attempting to fill the gas tank, he struggled to get the fuel door open, and his mechanic accidentally broke off the fuel door. It's a bummer, but hey, stuff happens; I worked in a car dealership myself for 8 years, I get it. He assures me that he will get replacement parts and send them to me back in North Dakota when they arrive. Cool, I say, and decide that I need to look this car over, just in case... So I do, and I find that the passenger front fender liner is entirely missing, the passenger headlight and fender are misaligned and there is a gap of sorts between the headlight and body panel that wasn't present in the online photos. I bring this to the attention of the salesman, who promises me that he will tell his superiors about this promptly and see if there is something that the dealership can do about it. This review was written 22 February 2022. A month and a half has gone by, and the salesman has either repeatedly forgotten about, or else blatantly ignored, my troubles. I'm still here with a busted vehicle, and the salesman's inactivity gives me the impression that he could care less. I've asked the salesman 2-3 times every week since the day I picked up the car if he has done anything about my concerns. He has not. I'm under the impression that he just wants me to give up and figure it out myself. I can't think of any other way to see it. He tells me over and over that he will help me and he just doesn't. He has given me many excuses as to why he hasn't helped me, none of which were satisfying or helpful. The salesman promised me that he would get in touch with his superiors about my fender liner/headlight alignment problem. He did not. He promised me that he would send me the Carfax report for this car, before and after the sale. He did not. He promised to give me a copy of the used car inspection that was performed upon trade-in. He did not. He promised me that he would definitely, absolutely get me a fuel door for my car. It's a month and a half later, and he did not. This is my experience with Ken Garff Nissan of Salt Lake. I ended up paying just slightly above $24,000 USD for this car; I feel like any other respectable dealership in the nation would at least do some kind of service after the sale for a customer who spends this much money on a car. Not this place. -There are better places to get a car from- If you're reading this review, go look elsewhere for your next automobile. Thanks for the car. I guess. And hey, salesman? Like I said above, out of respect I'm leaving your name out of this review, even though you clearly don't have similar respect for me. Consider being better to the people who literally drop a decent sale in your lap, entirely out of the blue. I didn't even ask once to wiggle on the price. It was possibly the easiest sale you have ever made in your life. You dropped every ball with me and my sale. I suspect you won't have any consequences with your management for such a poor and shameful performance, but I'm hopeful that you'll at least take it upon yourself to learn and grow from our experience together. My one poor review won't likely lead to any sort of progress in my struggle to get my car figured out, but I feel it best to at least put it out there. Speak the truth - always - even if your voice falls on silent ears, ya know? Stay blessed, everyone. More
Jack the sales man was very professional and helpful. He truly went out of his way to make sure I have a great experience. Michael the sales manager also went out of his way to help make things right when they realized the rear door window tint was damaged while detailing the car. Skylar the finance guy was very informative and honest, I felt like it was a very transparent transaction. Truly recommend the team at Ken Garff Nissan! More
My kindhearted wife (70 yrs.) was sweet talked into buying a used Subaru for $1k more than a new one. Tyler Ford convinced her she had to pay for accessories she doesn't want or need. Then Tyler and Skyler Shepherd double-teamed her and pumped her for another $5k in fees and service charges. A $22k used car became a $31k rip off. They must have high-fived and had a good laugh at their slam-dunk. When I went in for a refund of her down payment the "manager" Anthony Almanza tried to jerk me around, stalled and lied, saying he didn't know how to operate the debit card machine. Why can't they just sell a decent car for a fair price, make a little profit and go home with a clear conscience? How do these people sleep at night? More

I had just come a very traumatic experience at Toyota Bountiful (don't go there before reading their yelp and google reviews). They had the car I was looking for, and I was approved in 15 minutes with a MUCH LOWER rate than Toyota quoted. Seriously, you won't regret it. Skyler and mIKE IN finance are great to work with. The worse place to ever buy a car they are fast to get your money but there management don't know how to treat a customers very very disrespectful they can't keep there end of the bargain and when you cal your money but there management don't know how to treat a customers very very disrespectful they can't keep there end of the bargain and when you call them on it they call the cops because they protect them I would not recommend anybody to buy a car from this place they way they treated us they should not be open I waited 4 months to get my place lost my job lost everything my truck all lights came on the dash they were not trying to make it right nope not at all my wife's car we have had are cars for 4 months and they don't care I take it in there floor mangment comes at me all drunk and crazy and tells me to take my car orbit will be towed I mean the thing is there is a te and place for everything but not there not know and the fact that there don't keep there end is xxxxxxxxx but I feel like because he is black he can disrespect me I lost my job today know I have nothing and this is my thanks no they need to be fired 4 months to get my plates because they can't do there jobs. I was so happy with the wonderful customer service I received! My car was picked up from my house, I was informed of everything my car needed, and then my car was dropped off at my house!
