If you simply must buy a used car from ANY dealer in this City, Look, drive, check your smart meter, Read these reviews like I just did. Then read the reviews submitted at the Ford or the Volvo shop. Form a City, Look, drive, check your smart meter, Read these reviews like I just did. Then read the reviews submitted at the Ford or the Volvo shop. Form a dispassionate mind set and take the plunge into a world of excitement and a financial commitment. How long is 36 months? Forty/eight months sometimes this is our only option. So we tell ourselves. I purchased a used car at this dealership in 2022 and I had a good experience. The free oil change was thoughtful and appreciated. However, even a straight forward oil change must be spot on right, or wrong. The black circles under my car were from a loose oil pan nut, That could have hurt, I will visit Ken Garff in the next several days. They Need to talk to me about an issue that my car has that I’m absolutely certain that they will address. When it’s all said and done, quality, integrity are a moving target, What isn’t being said by the people who have posted a weakly stated complaint, if you’re problem with your purchase or the vehicle, Then go see ‘em, They will work with you.,, More
I have had my vehicles serviced at Ken Garrf for over 15 years now and they have never failed to go the extra mile. I haven't always been happy with the news they deliver about repairs but I'm sure they've years now and they have never failed to go the extra mile. I haven't always been happy with the news they deliver about repairs but I'm sure they've always done their best to minimize it. Brad and his team are a bunch of great guys who deserve kudos for their service. Just this week I had some warranty issues with my Titan XD Diesel. Brad referred me to Tim Dahle because they have a diesel tech and he explained that Ken Garff does not. I really didn't want to take my truck to the Dark Side because I've had unpleasant dealing with Tim Dahle in the past but I was basically left with few choices. Suffice it to say that when I went to Tim Dahle I didn't expect much and they did not disappoint. After poor service and egregious miscommunications I was literally in a shouting match with their Service Manager who threatened to call the police. In frustration I sought help from Ken Garf with the warranty issues I was having. Sam took the initiative and contacted Kornerstone for me and gave me a number for them to contact. Long story short, my issue is now resolved and the "bad taste in my mouth" I've had with Tim Dahle for going on 20 years is still there. I have purchased my last four vehicles at Ken Garff and I can say that in my experience, their service after the sale is second to none. More
Spoke with salesperson Pahl who told me the Z is in high demand and I advised him I know that's not the case as the cars are sitting on lots for several weeks and several available nationwide. This is typic demand and I advised him I know that's not the case as the cars are sitting on lots for several weeks and several available nationwide. This is typical dealer strategy to make you think your options are limited on negotiations. Dealers are selling Z's under msrp if you call around and search forums on pricing discussions. Pahl came back advising they haven't sold a Z under msrp and immediately advised Pahl that's a red flag for me and he basically halted communication. No car should be sold at or above msrp. Dealers that are doing so are greedy and money hungry. Best way to teach these Dealers a lesson is to stop doing business with them. It's sad Nissan allows this. They should be stripped of their dealer license from Nissan. More

I was not warned by the saleman or finance that my loan with NMAC would acrue interest from the date of vehicle delivery. This is an expensive scam to the customer. I could not make any payment until they with NMAC would acrue interest from the date of vehicle delivery. This is an expensive scam to the customer. I could not make any payment until they provided an account number. When my number was finally provided, a month later, I was shocked to see $320 interest added to my account. More
I wanted to replace my 21 year old Tacoma with another pickup with more technology than an airbag and power windows. Toyota is dropping the V6 and replacing it with a turbo 4 or a hybrid. They won’t be ou pickup with more technology than an airbag and power windows. Toyota is dropping the V6 and replacing it with a turbo 4 or a hybrid. They won’t be out until next year. The local dealer wouldn’t budge 5 cents below full MSRP and full price on some unwanted dealer added options. I looked at Nissan. I chose the Frontier, King Cab, 6 ft. bed, SV, V6, 4x4, white, with the Tech. pkg and the Convenience pkg. I test drove a 2023 King cab 2wd to make sure it would fit in my garage. It did. There are no 2024’s in Colorado, yet. There is one that meets my spec. on the way, expected arrival sometime in Jan. There is one currently at Ken Garff Nissan in Salt Lake City, 534 miles away. I got a price from Harold Ramos. It was way cheaper than the Tacoma. During our conversation, Harold mentioned he had a service dept. loner approaching 10K miles, at which point it would be sold used. It was a 2023 with everything I wanted, plus several more desirable options. Harold sent numerous pictures. It looked great. We discussed pricing. The price seemed fair. They included shipping, all-weather floor mats, and locking lug nuts. They also performed the 10K service and had the truck certified Pre-owned. The tires had plenty of life left. Buying a used truck, sight unseen, out of state is a little scary. I checked dealer reviews. The reviews were either love or hate without many in the middle. On the poor reviews the dealer replied and offered the reviewer a name to contact to make it right. If the problems were indeed “made right,” the reviewer should have gone back and updated their review. I stayed positive and decided to buy the used 2023. Harold and the others at Ken Garff Nissan were great. Besides Harold, I worked with Michael, the Sales Mgr, Nick in Finance, and Tracie in Accounting. Harold always quickly replied to my texts, even on his day off. Everyone I worked with was very responsive. I made a deposit via credit card on Friday, wired the money on Monday, the truck was put on transport that Thursday evening, and it arrived the next morning. All told, the sale and delivery were completed in one week. Everything was either e-signed or sent via Fed-ex. Besides being dirty from the open trailer delivery, through the Rocky Mountains in the winter, the truck is as promised. Harold helped get the Apple Car Play working. It’s not a 2024 but it didn’t cost anywhere near that much and looks to be in really great shape. I would recommend Harold Ramos and Ken Garff Nissan without hesitation. Thank you for reading all of this. More
Jesson Schear at Ken Garff Nissan Salt Lake City sold us a used Camry we drove it twice and the check engine light came on. We took it to a Toyota dealership for repairs. It needs a new transmission. Ken Ga a used Camry we drove it twice and the check engine light came on. We took it to a Toyota dealership for repairs. It needs a new transmission. Ken Garff sales manager offered us $200 as a trade in for a car they sold to us 10 days before and was driven twice. Jesson told us he was a mechanic and this was a solid car that would last for years. I guess forever to him means two trips. If I could give lower than a one star review I would. Crooked. Lying. Dishonest. More
Ken Garff in Downtown Salt Lake charged my credit card $10000.00 and will NOT refund the money until it goes through a "process". They owed me $1077 credit for a catalytic converter core exchange but inst $10000.00 and will NOT refund the money until it goes through a "process". They owed me $1077 credit for a catalytic converter core exchange but instead charged my Amex $10k on accident and are now telling me its my problem. I "was" buying a new truck but now my cards maxed. "Tried" to ask for the general manager but was told they were far to busy to talk to me. They got $10k, why bother talking to an ex-customer any further right? Dont let these people have your card numbers. More
Will never try and buy another car from the KG auto group. What a complete waste of time I had there, horrible saleswoman I was trying to work with, complete dishonesty in every way. A total waste of n group. What a complete waste of time I had there, horrible saleswoman I was trying to work with, complete dishonesty in every way. A total waste of nearly 3hrs of my time only to be told the car I was interested in was already sold, even let me test drive the car knowing xxxx well it was sold. And wouldn't work with me at all on pricing, not even 1 dollar off asking price!!! I would never recommend anyone shop for a vehicle at KG Nissan ever! What an awful experience! So glad to go to another dealer where I was treated right, and bought a MUCH better car that same day, and get this they worked with me on pricing, and actually listened to me! More
-There are better places to get a car from- Pros: + Salesman and finance manager made it very easy to manage the purchase of this car online/from a distance + Courtesy shuttle driver was very pleasant Salesman and finance manager made it very easy to manage the purchase of this car online/from a distance + Courtesy shuttle driver was very pleasant when he picked me up from the airport to bring me to the dealership Cons: - absolutely zero service after the sale - salesman more or less vanished from the face of the earth after the sale was finished when I told him the car had an issue, communication pretty much halted to nothing; would often be days or a week between communications with the salesman once the sale was finished. - the car suffered a bit of damage the day I arrived to pick it up, and has yet to be addressed a month and a half later when I was promised that it would be taken care of promptly - was promised the Carfax vehicle history report by two different staff members (salesman and finance associate), though never did actually get to see the Carfax My experience with Ken Garff Nissan is as follows: I found a car on Autotrader that I liked for sale at this dealership. After a few conversations with the salesman, I signed papers to purchase a car from Ken Garff Nissan of Salt Lake in mid December of 2021 after the salesman assured me that the car is free from any major issues besides little nicks or dings or scratches from normal wear. He said this to me in writing. Each day leading up to the sale, the salesman (whom, out of a sense of respect which was clearly not mutual, shall remain anonymous in this review) was quick to answer my questions via text or email at any time of day, every single day or night or weekend, and more than willing to help me get into this car. I mailed back the papers I signed and I flew one-way from North Dakota to SLC on January 11th and was taken to the dealership via their courtesy vehicle. I'm waiting in the showroom, when the salesman tells me that while he was attempting to fill the gas tank, he struggled to get the fuel door open, and his mechanic accidentally broke off the fuel door. It's a bummer, but hey, stuff happens; I worked in a car dealership myself for 8 years, I get it. He assures me that he will get replacement parts and send them to me back in North Dakota when they arrive. Cool, I say, and decide that I need to look this car over, just in case... So I do, and I find that the passenger front fender liner is entirely missing, the passenger headlight and fender are misaligned and there is a gap of sorts between the headlight and body panel that wasn't present in the online photos. I bring this to the attention of the salesman, who promises me that he will tell his superiors about this promptly and see if there is something that the dealership can do about it. This review was written 22 February 2022. A month and a half has gone by, and the salesman has either repeatedly forgotten about, or else blatantly ignored, my troubles. I'm still here with a busted vehicle, and the salesman's inactivity gives me the impression that he could care less. I've asked the salesman 2-3 times every week since the day I picked up the car if he has done anything about my concerns. He has not. I'm under the impression that he just wants me to give up and figure it out myself. I can't think of any other way to see it. He tells me over and over that he will help me and he just doesn't. He has given me many excuses as to why he hasn't helped me, none of which were satisfying or helpful. The salesman promised me that he would get in touch with his superiors about my fender liner/headlight alignment problem. He did not. He promised me that he would send me the Carfax report for this car, before and after the sale. He did not. He promised to give me a copy of the used car inspection that was performed upon trade-in. He did not. He promised me that he would definitely, absolutely get me a fuel door for my car. It's a month and a half later, and he did not. This is my experience with Ken Garff Nissan of Salt Lake. I ended up paying just slightly above $24,000 USD for this car; I feel like any other respectable dealership in the nation would at least do some kind of service after the sale for a customer who spends this much money on a car. Not this place. -There are better places to get a car from- If you're reading this review, go look elsewhere for your next automobile. Thanks for the car. I guess. And hey, salesman? Like I said above, out of respect I'm leaving your name out of this review, even though you clearly don't have similar respect for me. Consider being better to the people who literally drop a decent sale in your lap, entirely out of the blue. I didn't even ask once to wiggle on the price. It was possibly the easiest sale you have ever made in your life. You dropped every ball with me and my sale. I suspect you won't have any consequences with your management for such a poor and shameful performance, but I'm hopeful that you'll at least take it upon yourself to learn and grow from our experience together. My one poor review won't likely lead to any sort of progress in my struggle to get my car figured out, but I feel it best to at least put it out there. Speak the truth - always - even if your voice falls on silent ears, ya know? Stay blessed, everyone. More
