Lead Service Advisor, Nick Stutzman explained everything in great detail. Plus he let me know that the repainting of my hood would be paid by Hyundai. But if I wanted the roof to be repainted I would have to pay for that myself. I will return to Kearny Mesa Hyundai on Monday, July 15th. to drop off my 2018 Hyundai Sonata Limited, Ultimate Edition to have the repainting done. I spoke too Evelyn at Sunroad Collision. She said that Sunroad usually keeps a car for 1 week in order for the repainting to be completed. Unfortunately Kearny Mesa Hyundai does not provide a loaner vehicle while my car is at Sunroad Collision for 1 week. More
Pleasure being a respected customer. There was no pushing to make an impulsive decision and we were granted privacy to discuss our purchase in private. Much appreciated! Brooke in Finance is often as always. He works hard to make something happen for his customers. He has been apart of three transactions with the dealership. Our Service Advisor, Sean T He works hard to make something happen for his customers. He has been apart of three transactions with the dealership. Our Service Advisor, Sean Taylor communicated effectively and set the right expectations for our experience at the dealership. We did discover there is a little more work need to be done when it comes to being transparent and thorough in some aspects of service. The recommended service items are things which should have been addressed during the vehicles last oil change, which were not (topping off fluid levels, rotation of tires if needed). It seems without fail every time we bring the vehicle in for service there is a recommendation to replace the cabin filter, which is mind boggling. More
My service writer was Nick Stutzman. Great Guy. Easy to work with. I came in for an oil change and approved a whole bunch more. Satisfied. Don't feel taken advantage of. I originally b Great Guy. Easy to work with. I came in for an oil change and approved a whole bunch more. Satisfied. Don't feel taken advantage of. I originally bought and serviced my car in Carlsbad. As a matter of fact I bought 3 cars from that dealership. An Elantra for my son, a Sonata for my wife, and the Santa Fe for me. When you talk to the Carlsbad dealership these days they don't seem to want business or care about their customer. I wish they did because Carlsbad is very convenient for me. As things evolved yesterday I had some time to "enjoy" the customer waiting lobby. That coffee machine makes a great cup of coffee. Anyway, I'll be back thanks to Nick and the kind service. Also, I should mention that Tim Pitts has been the service writer on my wife's Sonata. She is very happy with the service he provides. Someone go slap the responsible manager(s) in Carlsbad. They are blowing it. More
