I made an appointment online on to bring my car in to get a few recall notices dealt with. I made it more than two weeks ahead of time and I decided to call the day before my appointment just to get an idea a few recall notices dealt with. I made it more than two weeks ahead of time and I decided to call the day before my appointment just to get an idea of how long the service would be. They then told me that actually they would have to cancel my appointment because apparently inspections can’t be done on a Saturday (of course this isn’t mentioned anywhere online) and I had I not called ahead of time I would have driven all the way to the dealership before I was informed. Pretty disappointing no one looked over my appointment and could make this realization for a full two weeks and now the earliest I can apparently get in is mid-September. Won’t be coming back here in the future. More

Every question was answered even if the same questions made other dealerships uncomfortable. I wholeheartedly felt comfortable and would send friends and family to this man for a car purchase. Jay (finance) gave much the same feel. I immediately felt welcomed and was presented information openly. He was clear and direct about what he could and could not do when finishing the backroom part of the sale. More
I made a 9:00 appointment two weeks in advance. They gave no instructions on what to do or who to see, so I went up and asked the front service desk. The person who my appointment was with is out, and it’s n no instructions on what to do or who to see, so I went up and asked the front service desk. The person who my appointment was with is out, and it’s now an hour later and I’ve been told ‘we’ll be with you in a moment’ about 15 times. They now told me my appointment was rescheduled for 11:20, so now I’ll have to wait 5 hours for a 2 hour process which I had an appointment for. Horrible service, would recommend going anywhere else if possible. More
Purchased our dream outback with the help of Mo and Jimmy "Pineapple." We had a very peasant experience. Special kudos to Jimmy for making us laugh the entire time we were sitting in his office. It was the best experience we had while signing loan documents. Hands down. Today I bought my 4th Hyundai vehicle at Kearney Mesa Hyundai. Now this is normally not my go to location. Ive bought all my cars in the past from national city mile of cars. I called and right away I knew and could feel I was going to walk out with a car the same day! Jay and Jimmy helped me throughout the whole process and they both went above and beyond! Had I known and had this same exact experience in the past, I would of came here to begin with! They are so attentive to my needs and wants. They listened to me and gave me exactly what I wanted and more! Everyone knows buying a car can be stressful sometimes, but not here. I was in and out. Within a couple hours! The car I drove home makes me feel like a million bucks! They left it so squeaky clean I could see myself in the cars reflection! I 100% recommend this location and this location only! Hands down most efficient and friendly Hyundai I've ever been too. Thanks again for everything. For all the team and to jay and Jimmy to make this happen. More

We had been let down twice by our local dealership in Orange County and close to giving up on buying a car. Thankfully we reached out to Kearny Mesa and was introduced to Brook. He listened to our concerns and wishes and went above and beyond to make sure we got everything we needed. It was because of Brook we drove all the way from Orange County to San Diego at 6pm to get our car. Well worth the drive. What sets Brook apart is that he's not a pushy sales guy, he wasn't trying to force us into buy add-ons or take something we didn't need. He is very knowledgeable. He comes across as your best friend's dad, who is super nice and caring. He even messaged us the next day to ask how our journey home was. We will definitely return for our next purchase and highly recommend Brook. More
Can not get an appointment right plus 2+ hour oil change Well, I could write for days on the poor service. But recently my wife scheduled an oil change. They are so proud that the wait time for a simple oil change is 2-5 hours. Well in addition to growing old waiting for our car to be done. They got the wrong date and wrong phone number. They refuse to call my wife and will only call me. We put my number on their do no call list and they continue to call. They said it must be a scam, but I could hear other Kearny Mesa Hyundai reps talking in the background when I answered. They continue to call me. Over 6 in 6 hours today. And they still have the wrong service date, even though we called and made sure they had the right date. Now thwy want to know why I did not show for the appointment that we never made. More
HORRIBLE experience I've been coming to this location since I moved to San Diego but today I had a HORRIBLE experience and don't want others to go through anything simila I've been coming to this location since I moved to San Diego but today I had a HORRIBLE experience and don't want others to go through anything similar. I came in for a simple oil change and after the man helping me checked the mileage on my car he proceeded to tell me about a 30,000 mile inspection. He made it seem like an included service. He then wrote up some paperwork and when I asked about the estimated charge he said I would not be charged that. I signed the paper and waited about two hours for my car to be ready. Then, I got screwed with essentially $300 in labor cost for the service I specifically confirmed I wasn't being charged for and I got zero benefit from the unnecessary service inspection they preformed. Biggest rip off EVER! I won't be back.... More
