I was met by Michael Rosenberg who proceeded to take me through one of the most pleasant and informative car buying experiences I can remember. It’s all too common to run into a obnoxious car salesman who only wants to get your signature and their commission as fast as possible. Michael Rosenberg proved to be a wonderful exception to that cliche, with his professional and friendly manner, he knows what he is talking about, was not pushy but extremely helpful in helping find a SUV that met my needs and at the same time helping me stay within my budget. He has ensured that I will be coming back to this dealership for years to come. Good luck and much success to Michael and Karp Kia. Regards, Anna R. Catapano More
My experience with Kia was absolutely amazing. The dealer, Michael, who helped me and my family was phenomenal. He was very informative yet very low key. Not pushy at all, and beyond helpful. We were dealer, Michael, who helped me and my family was phenomenal. He was very informative yet very low key. Not pushy at all, and beyond helpful. We were able to negotiate to a reasonable trade in price and affordable monthly payments. The Kia forte, as well as the rest of the cars that they had on the floor, was amazing. The forte in particular was a real eye catcher for me, and a very smooth ride. I would rate my overall experience a 10+++. I highly recommend anyone interested in a Kia to go to this dealership, and ask for Michael. =) More
My husband and I were so happy to have come to Karp Kia. Initially, we had gone to another dealership and were presented with the typical salesman behavior and it was a very high pressure environment. After Initially, we had gone to another dealership and were presented with the typical salesman behavior and it was a very high pressure environment. After, we visited Karp Kia to compare deals for the Optima SX, where we met Michael Rosenberg. Our experience with Michael was the total opposite of what we experienced at the first dealership. Michael treated us like family from the second we met. He was patient, friendly and was not trying to pressure us into any decision. Instead, he sat down with us and worked out the best deal that we both felt comfortable with. He is an honest man who really cares for his customers and the family dealership he works for. Michael spent a lot of time with us explaining all the features of the Optima. We love the car and are so happy to have leased it from Michael at Karp Kia. He called us the day after to make sure everything was okay and to ensure us that if we have any questions or need help with the car, that Karp Kia was there for us. We totally recommend anyone looking for a car to go to Karp Kia and you will experience how a car dealership should operate! The Whittiers More
We just brought home our new 2014 Kia Sedona and we are thrilled! After a disappointing visit to the East Meadow Kia dealership on Saturday, we were hesitant to visit another Kia dealership. But since w thrilled! After a disappointing visit to the East Meadow Kia dealership on Saturday, we were hesitant to visit another Kia dealership. But since we already owned a 2006 Kia Sedona and were VERY pleased with it, we went online and came upon Karp in Rockville Centre. We figured we would give them a try. From the moment we walked in we were impressed with the friendly vibe of the showroom. We were warmly greeted by Jonathan Hernandez, who listened to what we were looking for, showed us right to the exact van we wanted, and offered a test drive. That was at 4:00pm by 5:00pm we had a deal that we were all happy with. Our experience was positive from start to finish. Everyone at Karp went above and beyond to make this purchase as smooth as it could go. Job well done!!! Thank you to you all, The Engel Family More

I brought my car into the dealership because there were issues with my 2005 Kia Sedona which was still under warranty. It was determined that the engine was not functioning correctly and the parts were ord issues with my 2005 Kia Sedona which was still under warranty. It was determined that the engine was not functioning correctly and the parts were ordered and replaced at no cost to me. My car was at the dealership for 30 days (from 8/30 through 9/28), part(s) were on back order, approvals, techician was working on other cars, etc. I asked the dealer and regional headquarters numerous times for a loaner car or rental vehicle, only to be denied. On the day I got the car back from the dealer, two hours later, the check engine light comes on. Once again back to the dealer for them to tell me that I need an ignition coil, which is not covered under the warranty. Keep in mind, that wasn't an issue prior to me bringing the car in for the intitial engine problem. They wanted $275 to fix, what a joke. I didn't give them the business and took it to my mechanic who fixed the ignition coil. Now there is a bad smell coming through the vents in the car and if anyone attempts to drive it, they will pass out from the fumes. I get a call from the mechanic today and he tells me that the car is burning oil and it is coming out of the tailpipe. I have a call into Karp and Regional Headquarters but no response. The saga continues on 10/11/2013 when I receive a call from the dealership insisting that the car is not burning oil and there is nothing they can do for me. I call the independent mechanic and he stated that after 15 minutes of idling the car, when you press down on the accelerator there is smoke coming from the engine. Someone is not telling me the truth here and I'm sure I know who it is. In the interim, I have filed a complaint report with NYSDMV and will be getting a person appointed to the case. In addition, I have contacted 7 on your side whom I'm waiting to hear back from. As consumers, we have bill of rights and I'm not giving up. Russell Koches More

Michael is great salesman, that takes his time, does not make you feel rushed or pressured (even if you have been with him for 3 hours)... I do not rush into things so Michael proved to be the perfect salesman for me/us. Michael made the sales process smooth and he comes across as really genuine. I felt as though he was interested in my needs and concerns. I had an issue with the car (seat problem) a couple of weeks after purchase, and Michael went above and beyond to try to rectify the situation. My husband was also recently in the market for a car, so who better to go to than Michael. Even though hubby did not see anything that day that he liked, Michael still took his time with us once again on test drives, and even following up with a call to see if my husband was still looking. I had taken the car in for service in Aug., I was sitting in the waiting area on the computer waiting for the car to be serviced and who comes over Michael, and he still recalled that my husband was looking for a car and wanted to know how my car was working out for me, all those months later. I highly recommend Michael Rosenberg as a salesman, and Karp Kia for having such a wonderful employee. Sincerely, Sherry Crooks More

I purchased a 2013 Kia Rio (from Karp Kia) in January of 2013. I enjoyed my 2011 Kia Sorento (purchased from another dealership) so much, I knew I wanted another Kia. So my pregnant wife and I went in knowi 2013. I enjoyed my 2011 Kia Sorento (purchased from another dealership) so much, I knew I wanted another Kia. So my pregnant wife and I went in knowing what we wanted and settled on an EX Rio. Our salesman was Michael Rosenberg and he was nice enough, and his correspondence via email was prompt. He did tell us that Kia's were priced so low that there is not much wiggle room when it comes to the price. Unfortunately that was not the case with our 2011 Sorento purchased from another dealership where we received a fair discount. When it was all said and done, we only received about $600 off the sticker price and walked away feeling like we did not get a deal. I was just there for the car.. Luckily I like what I purchased... until a few weeks ago. Recently, I got a flat tire at around 10pm in Queens, New York. The area where I received the flat wasn't the safest of places, so I wanted to quickly fix the flat by exchanging the spare tire. I've swapped spares a few times and am a capable person for the process. This is where my major gripe comes in... AT 10PM IN A CRUMMY NEIGHBORHOOD, I LEARNED THAT THERE WAS NO SPARE TIRE! It seems that the spare in the Rio was replaced with an air compressor and "Fix-a-flat" goo.. After a few minutes of futzing with the goo & compressor.. the tire did not inflate and I had to use road-side assistance. So what should have taken 20 minutes, turned into a 2.5 hour ordeal (AND I had to buy a new tire). So the next day, I put an email in to Michael Rosenberg, who politely reminded me that the spare tire was an "upgrade" and that I could get one from the parts department. He also reminded me that he supposedly told me this when we purchased the new car. I do not recall him telling me this... I think I would remember someone telling me that my new car DOES NOT COME WITH A SPARE TIRE. But I digress.. he forwarded me to Robert in the parts department who kindly called me and was extremely nice on the phone. He informed me that the "Kit" was $229.00 and offered no discounts to a growingly frustrated customer. After talking with him a bit, I asked him if I could just purchase the spare tire alone (I have an extra jack from a previous vehicle). After a bit of grumbling, he told me that I could pick up the spare for $95.00. That seemed fair enough, so I planned on coming in a couple of days later to pick up the spare. Unfortunately when I got to the Karp Kia Parts department, I met with a no longer so friendly Robert, who told me that the spare was the tire rubber only and that to get the rim for the spare tire I had to purchase the kit for $229.00. WATCH OUT FOR THE BAIT AND SWITCH. I kindly said thanks for their time and walked out... I pulled out my phone and found the entire kit at another dealership (New) for $50.00 less. I called the other dealership, paid for the kit over the phone and picked it up the same day. I would have gladly paid full price for the spare tire & the kit from Karp Kia.. but I feel like they were trying to bamboozle me.... so I went to another dealer who not only got my money for the parts (that should have come with the vehicle anyway).. but I also set up regular service with them for my TWO KIA VEHICLES. Shame on Kia for not including a spare tire as standard. It seems in other countries the spare is included. Shame on Karp Kia for giving an honest family the run around. More
