In response to the dealerships response comments: I take it they think its too much work to make sure the tires are round and just need to find a sucker for their cars. In regards to the two 'wrecks' on the honda civic, one is where road debris came up under the car on the interstate and the other is where another car hit the drivers side mirror. Nothing close to the traditional sense of the word wreck. There was no pressure put on the dealership to buy the honda, they could have said no anytime and since they bought honda civic VIN SHHFK7H43HU202962 for 15k or 15.5k (i can check the paperwork for the exact number) and are now asking $20477 I take it that they found the deal enticing and seek to make $5000 on the deal. I find disheartening that the dealership feel that they felt pressure from a man selling his honda, who was happy to sell it to the competition down the street but when they were offered a chance to match the offer. they jumped it. How odd. Especially considering I had left the property with my vehicle. A touch of FOMO perhaps? OK I feel that this review is worthy of one star and I can't honestly recommend Joseph Toyota for anyone looking to buy a car. The whole process from beginning with the salesperson, Tom, to taking the car home has been unpleasant. I arrived early on Wednesday 6/21 and met with Tom to view a 2014 Acura. I drove the car. I liked the car I wanted to move forward with it. Tom and the dealership initially offered me a very low price for my 17 Honda Civic with 64k miles no wrecks and after a lot of back and forth I ended up taking my car down the street to the Honda dealership where they offered me more for it. I then called back to the dealer, joseph Toyota, who once aware of another offer agreed to match my trade in offer that I had received from Honda. We were able to wrap things up and I drove the car home that day since I live in Indianapolis I took I 74 back but at speeds of 70 to 75 miles an hour I experienced significant vibrations in the car it took it to tire discounters who confirmed that the driver front tire was 1.25 oz. out of balance no big deal things happen the following week I noticed a leak in the car from the rear axle the seal was bad a $500 repair no big deal I understand not everything can be caught from the dealership leaks happen. Now this week the vibration is back and a shop has suggested that its tire run out that is to say the tire is no longer around I'm beginning to be concerned that this car is a lemon I called Tom on the 12th of this month to see if he or the dealership wanted to offer anything to do about the tires I have no idea if the dealership put these tires on or if they came with the car but I'm concerned that the dealership didn't notice that the tires weren't round had uneven treadwear that causes this vibration. I have not heard back from the dealership after Tom had told me that he would get back to me. This matter is still pending and I'm happy for the dealership to reach out to me to resolve this issue, they have all my contact info (they were nice enough to pass it along to Sirius XM who keeps calling me). If they end up reaching out, I will update this review accordingly currently. The tires still have a lot of tread ( 8mm) on them and are Goodyear assurance weather ready. I would have to say do not waste your time dealing with this dealership I'm not happy with the product that they sold and more so the entire process of trying to get them to value my trade correctly I had to go spend an additional 3 hours at the dealership down the street to get Joseph Toyota to play ball and am now having issues with the car I bought from them. 1/5.
