I took my 2019 Ford Edge into Jordan Ford on Jefferson April 2,2025 Explained that the Edge hesitates at slow speeds or taking off from a red light or stop sign…had a friend drive it and they said it a April 2,2025 Explained that the Edge hesitates at slow speeds or taking off from a red light or stop sign…had a friend drive it and they said it acts like it is misfiring. I was given an appointment for Monday April 7, 2025 I brought it to Jordan and they shuttled me to work. I saw Jarrid Miller on April 7 he called me later in the morning stating that they didn’t really have anything concrete on what was wrong with it other than the fact that spark plugs were rusty (low miles 41525) and the cooling system needed flushed. I have an extended warranty thru Zurich so Jarrid said I could have a loaner seeing work was going to be done. The service work on my Edge was scheduled for April 8,2025 Picked it up after I got off work paying $1112.75 charges and my Edge drives horrible worse than when it was brought in. I called and left Jarrid a couple of phone messages about the Edge driving horrible. I stopped at Jordan the next week Jarrid was not in I talked with another gentleman. I also talked with Tanner Grunnell I explained the situation with my Edge running so rugged and rough has no get up and go. I have to put this issue with my Edge on pause my Mom is in critical condition and I will be spending my time with her and can’t deal with vehicle issues at this time. I will be contacting the Service Manager at Jordan Ford next …seeing they work with the mechanics who do the work on my vehicle…I am very frustrated my 2019 Edge drives awful and I bought it brand new. I just don’t understand why my Edge can’t be connected to the scanners they use to find out what’s wrong with a vehicle and get a history reading of how my Edge performs. So frustrating More
