Absolute Disgrace to the Nissan Company!!!!! I attempted to purchase a vehicle from this dealership recently and have honestly never been treated so rude in my whole car buying experience. Darrel I attempted to purchase a vehicle from this dealership recently and have honestly never been treated so rude in my whole car buying experience. Darrell Thompson, one of the Product Specialist at this dealership is without a doubt one of the rudest people I have ever had any dealings with, period. The owner of this dealership should strongly consider his employment there. I say this because when I told them what I was willing to pay to purchase a particular vehicle I wanted he said he would get with his manager and then call me back. Darrell called me back in a reasonable time and told me to come on down he would have the vehicle up front waiting on me as they were able to do the deal as I proposed as long as my trade was as clean as I described (which I totally understand). I almost started to go there but decided to call him back before I did just in case there was a breakdown in communication. As you can imagine there was a huge breakdown in communication. I had told him earlier on the phone that I was interested in the 0% financing and I understood that I could not get the $2,500 rebate with it. So, I called him back to make sure the deal we were going to do was for the 0% financing. He went on to say there is no way we can sell you that car for that with 0% and that they could get me financed with someone else for the rest. I explained that I did not want to pay interest and that is when he really started in: asking what the big deal was, and why I was so hung up on the 0% financing. He was such a jerk. Needless to say, I ended up purchasing the exact same vehicle at a different dealership within 25 miles or so. It's a shame when you are trying to purchase something, especially a car, you should not have to put up with this kind of crap. Again I want to stress that this dealership truly disgraces the Nissan company name. And by the way, I did purchase the exact same vehicle I wanted at the other dealership for nearly $2,000 less than the "best" Tri-Cites could do. More

Turns out it was because Tri-Cities Nissan service department did not tighten the oil plug. BUT that's not even the problem! The dealership refuses to do anything to correct the problem. In fact, the only way they will pay for the tow bill and bill at the other Nissan place that fixed my car, is if I sign an agreement that they are not responsible for any future damage to the motor. REALLY???!!! The dealership's service department is responsible for my engine and any damage that may have happened to it!!! They offered an extended powertrain warranty. Ok great! If you think it's so wonderful, then why do I STILL have to sign the release that your facility is not responsible for any damage to my engine??? I purchased a service plan when I bought the car. I asked for THAT money back. OBVIOUSLY I'm not going back there to have any service done to my Nissan Z370. BUT they refuse to give any of that money back either. Never have I ever been treated so coldly and rude. If I had a business and one of my employee's screwed up, I would do whatever it took to fix the problem to ensure the customer continued to trust me and use my establishment. This place...... NOPE!!! They could care less. Now I'm to the point that I will have to pursue legal action and that is sooooo sad. More

Offer us 1500 for our trade in and finally got them to 5500. I wrote how I would trade on the back of the deal sheet. Price of the new car less trade in + tax and less the rebate. Went to finance office and looked at the contract and they had used the rebate to get my trade in to 5500! I was walking out and they called me back in. Service...scary! I took my car in for diagnosis and estimate for repair. They quoted me nearly 600 for the repair and told them I couldn't afford that. They brought my car out and on the way home the car started knocking. Checked the oil and it didn't even register on the dip stick. Put oil in and got it home and changed the oil. The oil plug was torqued to the point I almost couldn't get it out! I always change my own oil and had only been 1 month since the last oil change. I have no way of proving anything but with all my other experiences it seems pretty obvious. Buying a car does not end with the purchase! Remember you will probably need service. More

They made me feel like they could care less if I bought from them or not. If it hadn't been for Robbie, I would not have bought there. Joe Whitaker, the guy that did all the paperwork was very proficient. I enjoyed speaking with Robbie and Joe. More

The second average - poor encounter. About 2-3 years ago i went into this dealership looking for a specific car. I have drove these cars before (sport) and knew exactly what i wanted. I w About 2-3 years ago i went into this dealership looking for a specific car. I have drove these cars before (sport) and knew exactly what i wanted. I was told in a rude manner that what i wanted "wasn't out there" and not for the money i wanted to spend. Well, several weeks after that, i did buy exactly what i was looking for and the price range in knoxville. (grayson auto - great) I was very put off by how i was treated when looking to buy a car from tri-cities nissan. Then this year (2015) i decided to trade for a newer version of my car. Again, the used car sales manager told me i would not likely find what i wanted and was very rude to me and my family there. He acted as if he didnt have time for our "money" or to answer questions. I almost said something rude back but decided to just leave. I ended up dealing with 2 different sales people who were okay and even test drove a different car to see if i would like it. Which i later realized they were trying to sell me a more expensive car than the one i was wanting to buy. I left my information to be contacted if the car i wanted came in, NO CALLS OR EMAIL. Which shows me they must not want to sell cars very much since i looked on there website and 2 cars within what im looking for has been posted. I have recently purchased exactly what i want from another dealership in the area. ( i recommend going to everett nissan in boone nc.) Service review: I brought my car in to have a problem diagnosed. I was told over the phone it would be $87 to have it looked at, which i agreed to. When i pulled into the service department, i told 3 employees i did not want to spend any more money on the car then the $87 to have it looked at. The car had to be kept for a couple days so the technician could find the problem. I received a total of 2 calls from the manager of the service department, who i will say was very nice. When i went to pick up my car, i was asked to pay $210! I was so mad that they did not discuss this with me and fixed a part on my car I DID NOT ASK THEM TO. I paid the bill but will never be back to this dealership. More

My husband and I had been looking for a truck that would fit a car seat since we are expecting our first child. With that being said, we were looking for something affordable as well as safe for our family. We were very excited to find the exact truck we wanted listed on a yard sale page on Facebook. First red flag. When we contacted the listing person, she gave us her husband's phone number, Al. My husband called and was surprised that the truck was actually at a dealership. He gave our number to a sales lady, Shelly I believe, who promptly called and told us to come on over!! Five minutes later she called and said she didn't realize that the truck would not be there until four not to come until she called and told us to. Second red flag. We were still very excited and cancelled our day trip we had planned two weeks earlier and went to the bank to get the check. Around 2:30 my husband called to check on the status. The sales lady was rude and told him she would call him back when she had eyes on the truck and basically hung up on him. So, 4:30 rolls around. No call. My husband says he is just going to drive on over and check on things. When he gets there, the truck has already been sold. Wow. Imagine our surprise. So the sales lady tells my husband one story and we get another story from the sales manager. Guess they didn't have time to get their stories straight. The sales manager told me I was more than welcome to go above him, but he is high in the company because he moves inventory. Wow!! The dirty, sleezy way. I don't know that I would brag about that. Then he offered to find us another truck. Are you kidding me? Would it have been too much to at least call us? Not have us waste a whole day? Beware buyers!! Take your money elsewhere. More

VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!!!! WHAT A RIP OFF! I HAD A BAD EXPERIENCE WITH THIS DEALERSHIP. I bought my 2009 Nissan Sentra from Tri Cities Nissan on a recommendation of a person I trust and who als I HAD A BAD EXPERIENCE WITH THIS DEALERSHIP. I bought my 2009 Nissan Sentra from Tri Cities Nissan on a recommendation of a person I trust and who also bought from them. I bought this car almost 2 weeks ago. They sold me the car with bad tires and the central lock does not work. I took it in today to get the lock fixed and asked them if they could give me discount on new tires since they sold me the car with tires that needed to be replaced. They said no. OK, so I said I would pay the full price because it needed to be done. I took the car there at 8am and at 3 pm (2 hours before their closing time) they finally called and said they don't have the correct tire size but they can fit a smaller tire on it. They also said that this is a better deal and it is cheaper. It did not sound right, or like a better deal because they should have given me the best deal in the morning to begin with and not at 3pm when it sounded like they still wanted to make a profit off of me even though they were out of stock with the correct tire size. I don't understand tires, obviously, and that is what greatly helps dealerships prey on people who just don't understand car stuff. I could not make an educated decision on the spot on the phone 2 hours before their closing time knowing I had to have my car Monday for work. So under pressure I said fine do it but I also said I had to call my auto mechanic because I didn't fully understand it and it did not sound right what they were saying. I called my auto mechanic who advised me against purchasing smaller tires that they were suggesting--he said the size difference is too significant. I called them back 30 minutes later and said I wanted my old tires on my car and they said they would charge me $150 for the labor. I am not pleased with this service at all because they sold me this car with tires that needed to be replaced anyway and when I was willing to still pay for the new tires, they tried to rip me off by selling me the wrong tire size and subsequently charged me for labor after I said I wanted my old tires back on. They said they could not anything about it---How about not charging me? They could not have done that? And they waited till 3 pm to tell me they don't have the correct tire size. Well, yes, they charged me $122.35 for the labor and I drove home with the same old tires on my car and $122.35 lighter. There was no way I was going to buy small tires from them or anything else after this! I did not like that at all and I promised them that I would write this review and I keep my promises. So here it is. More

Words cannot describe the service and treatment that not only I received, but After my experience with Tri Cities Nissan, I wouldn't go anywhere else! Words cannot describe the service and treatment that not only I received, but my family as well. They treated us with the UTMOST respect and beyond. I initially purchased a vehicle that I had some concerns about and knowing that the lines of communication were available, I decided to call and voice those concerns. Not only did they make sure I was happy, they didn't act like it hindered them in the least. They treated me like I was the only person there.. even more so the second time! I bought a 2014 Nissan Rogue with absolutely no pressure to buy BUT they made 110% sure that I was making the decision on my own and that I was happy to the fullest. I was treated like a lady! Darryl Collins was my salesman, I am SO grateful for him and Al Kingsbury! They were phenomenal. It was actually bittersweet when my buying experience was over. I know these guys sacrificed precious time for me and my family because not only did I buy, but my mother bought a Rogue as well. We were there later than the closing hours trying to work out a deal for my mom and no one ever complained at all.. They even offered to stay until the deal was done even if it was 2 a.m. We called it a night and returned the following morning to seal the deal for my mother, and it went as smooth as I could possibly imagine. They were so good to my kids, even though they were becoming restless and active. They accommodated us all the way. I truly can't say enough about the service I received from Darryl. He is wholeheartedly a wonderful man inside and out. More
