Due to the time required on recalls, I was provided a 2018 Jeep to use for the day. All work was done by the next day - at which point i picked it up. I decided to get new tires and they put them on without hesitation or charge. While the whole situation was inconvenient, the service department made it tolerable. New car purchase I was looking for a Fiat 500x Trekking that had the Beats stereo, the sunroof, and of course the 18” wheels. Well Jim Shorkey had on the lot. This was an easy decision to make, and once they gave me what I wanted for my trade, it was a done deal! No pressure to buy, which would have been a deal killer. Would recommend highly! More
Excellent customer care from Sales and Finance My wife and I had been looking for a particular car to replace my eight year old car that I use in my work. The service contract was about to expire My wife and I had been looking for a particular car to replace my eight year old car that I use in my work. The service contract was about to expire and I wanted to purchase a replacement vehicle before winter set in. I searched all of the web based car sites and located several in the last month, but they either were beyond my stated budget for payments, or the financing to secure the car was moving out beyond the number of months I was comfortable with. Then, just this week, after we had traveled out 120 miles from our home to test drive another vehicle I felt I was just settling with, an available car became available at Jim Shorkey CDJR in PIttsburgh. The price and odometer miles were very agreeable, so I made an appointment with Salesman Marco Lopez to view the car. Then, I brought my wife to the dealership and we test drove the car and found it to be the one we would work a deal on. Both Marco and his Finance Manager John Clutter worked diligently to secure a favorable trade, service contract, and financing to allow us to drive the car home that night. Very comfortable experience, with a minimum of people within the dealership to work with. Thank you Marco and John. I will definitely consider your dealership when the time comes to trade up from my current 2015 Dodge Charger. More
Service department is worst I have experienced I usually give credit and good reviews for service when I am impressed and equally leave negative feedback when it is warranted. For two successive trips to the service department at this dealership, I have been disappointed. My last time at this dealer I was quoted a price for an oil change and when I arrived they had no knowledge of the quote. They wanted to charge me $60 more than the quote. No effort on service rep to make any restitution or apologies. I left when he said I was holding up the line and their were people waiting behind me. I got there 30 minutes early (7;30am) to be first in line! On my trip prior, they didn't have my oil in stock. They drained my oil and said I was waiting so long because they had to send out to another dealership for the correct oil. Shouldn't the mechanic check that before he takes the oil out or a takes part off of a car? Stay away from the old Mick's Dodge service department (Now the Shorkey family auto group) on McKight road. More
TERRIBLE...stay away I leased a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee in February. About a month in, I noticed my gear shift moves to neutral or reserve on its own. I called the dealer I leased a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee in February. About a month in, I noticed my gear shift moves to neutral or reserve on its own. I called the dealership and they said that's not possible because this isn't an issue anymore. Well I am telling you it is. My Jeep will literally just go into neutral or reserve WHILE DRIVING. Seems dangerous right? The dealership says that my vehicle does not do this (without even looking at it) but can put me in a Jeep Compass for the same payment. Now no offense to anyone who has a Compass, but my Grand Cherokee is 48k and the Compass is in the 20s...why would I pay the SAME payment for a car thats half the price?? Then I go to the service department because I have a recall on the vehicle, I was disgusted with the so called "customer lounge". We own 4 vehicles and all of them are different OEMs. I have never seen such bad service before. No one offered a beverage, they did not wash my car after it was services, was not vacuumed on the inside, and took longer than they said it would. I would never recommended someone going here for anything. Absolutely terrible. More

It all began when We didn’t receive our registration for over two months. When we did receive it, only my husband was listed. Then our financial institution informed us this Sping that they still have not received the title. To date, we are still waiting to receive the title on a vehicle we purchased in November 2017! Without a title, I have no legal right to a vehicle I am financing. Calls to the dealership are useless; straight to voicemail. I’ve resorted to emailing the title clerk and general manager, numerous times without a response. This has been absolute nightmare. I will NEVER purchase a car from Jim Shorkey. I would give no stars if I could. More
