My service was really not that great. I repeatedly had to message my service advisor and received no response for days to even schedule my appointment for an issue he told me he would ge I repeatedly had to message my service advisor and received no response for days to even schedule my appointment for an issue he told me he would get back to me about. After no response from Wyatt trying to get an appointment scheduled I called and made one over the phone with an appointment setter. They told me it would take a couple of hours to fix my paint chip and asked if I was waiting or dropping off on the phone and I said I could drop it off and pick it up after the end of my work day. I picked a day that I had no meetings and wouldn’t need my car. So the day of I drop off my car and I didn’t even go to a service desk. A woman came up to me when I pulled in and asked my name and took the mileage down on my car and asked why I was here. I told her to get a paint chip fixed. She told me to hang tight and then another women came up to me and asked me where the chip was I showed her and then she said ok we will call you when it’s ready and your service advisor will reach out to you. I said ok and left. This was at 8am. I didn’t receive a text or any communication all day so I called the service dept at about 4 and talked to a lady who couldn’t tell me anything about my car and just told me that Wyatt was my advisor. The same guy who never texted me back weeks before and said she would have him call me. I explained to her I was told my car would be ready that day and I needed it back again she said she didn’t know and my advisor would have to contact me and I said ok. She said she didn’t have access to the service notes. The end of the day came and I never heard back from anyone. The next day I called and left a message pretty upset and a lady named Alyssa called me back from the rental department asking if I needed a rental because my car would be there a few days. I explained to her what I was told and she didn’t quite understand because she told me that my car was actually at a body shop getting repaired and it was not a repair that could be completed in one day. I explained to her how frustrating this was and I could of made plans and coordinated not having a car if I would of known but I had a meeting that day and I needed a car asap. Alyssa was so helpful and told me she could get me a rental. I did go the day after my appointment and pick up the rental which was a life saver but I am just really disappointed with the lack of communication and the hassle it was to be lied to about when my car would be ready. I’m not sure how over the phone I was told it would be a couple of hour fix and I was not communicated with until the next day that my car would actually be there for days. Why was I not offered a rental the day I dropped my car off and why did no one ever reach out to me until the next day and only after I made multiple phone calls. I am very disappointed in the service and it cost me being late to work the next day finding a ride since I had no car! I am a returning customer and have purchased two vehicles from Jim Butler and i not pleased and do not appreciate the bind I was put in. The worst part is no one ever even called me except for Wyatt the day my car was done letting me know it was ready for pick up. The whole reason it was even being fixed for a paint chip is because when I bought it the car had a hail dent on the hood and it needed repaired as a we owe you so when I took it to get the dent removed from y’all they chipped the paint. I get that things happen but my advisor Wyatt would not get back to me and the sales guy who sold me my car apparently didn’t work there anymore. It was a mess. It is what it is but I just want you to know and the fact that I even took the time to write this should show that it was not a good experience and I hope the service and communication improve in the future. More
