In some cases, components may require replacement during the repair process due to age, condition, or manufacturer requirements. Any parts replaced as part of the recall repair are done to ensure the vehicle is returned in accordance with factory specifications. The repair order reflects the recall campaign that was completed under warranty. It is not uncommon for supporting parts or materials associated with the recall process to be handled through the manufacturer's warranty claim rather than listed separately on customer-facing paperwork. We also want to be clear that recall customers are not placed on a "bottom priority list." We work diligently to complete all repairs as quickly as possible; however, repair timelines can be impacted by factors outside of our control, including manufacturer parts availability and warranty authorization processes. Most importantly, we would never knowingly return a vehicle with unresolved issues caused by our repair process.
