Refused to abide by powertrain warranty I purchased a 2005 Ford F-150 pick up truck on 11/24/14 with supposedly a 3,000 mile/3 month warranty. Please note that at the time of purchase the v I purchased a 2005 Ford F-150 pick up truck on 11/24/14 with supposedly a 3,000 mile/3 month warranty. Please note that at the time of purchase the vehicle had 140,974 miles on it. The day I drove the vehicle home the "check engine" light came on. I immediately took it to my mechanic and was told not only did I have a cylinder misfire, need an upper right control arm, spark plugs and ignition coil but was advised that he had no idea how the vehicle even passed inspection as according to Pennsylvania law the vehicle would not pass a legal inspection since there were no lights around the license plate. After contacting the used car sales manager, I was advised that he would knock off another $200 on the price of the vehicle but refused to reduce the amount of the vehicle by the total of $724.32. Please note that I had not yet finalized the deal with D'Ambrosio. I accepted the offer to reduce the sales price by $200 not realizing that the vehicle had even more serious/major issues than this. On 2/3/15, the "check engine" light again on and the transmission started "slipping" and the vehicle became completely inoperable. I immediately contacted the dealer (salesperson Jim Balch) and was advised to have the vehicle towed in to them since it was under a 3,000 mile warranty which had not been reached and therefore the vehicle was still under warranty. After incurring unnecessary costs of having the vehicle towed to D'Ambrosio, I was advised by the used car sales manager that the vehicle was no longer under warranty and he would have to charge me $2,500 to have the transmission rebuilt. Please note that there was 140,974 miles on the vehicle when I purchased it and on 2/3/15 the vehicle was definitely within the 3 month/3,000 mile warranty. Please also note that the miles on the vehicle at this point in time were 143,650 miles (still well within the 3,000 mile/3 month warranty). I knew it would be a big mistake to give D'Ambrosio any more of my hard-earned money and I had the vehicle towed to a reputable transmission repair shop (Max's Transmission in Delaware County, PA). On 2/4/15, I incurred $2,100 to have the transmission rebuilt plus an additional coil pack ($132.50) due to another cylinder "misfire." Therefore, I incurred additional costs in the amount of $2,958 for a used vehicle that was "supposedly" under a 3 month/3,000 mile powertrain warranty. Please note that I have all necessary supporting documentation regarding the above. More

I've been to many dealerships in the past where the salesman (team) try to put you into something they want you to have, just so they can meet quotas. Note so at D'Ambrosio, and not so with Anthony. We met Anthony in November of 2014, and my wife wanted to buy a Benz, used; just so she can see if its what she really wanted to be in. We met Anthony, and he did everything he could do to make it happen for her. He spoke on our behalf to the finance team, based on what we wanted and what we were working with, and it got done. My wife was happy, I was happy, and Anthony treated us like royalty. It was a no brainer that 3 months later, I went back to D"Ambrosio and sought out Anthony to trade in my SUV for a new vehicle. Nothing changed, nothing different...same red carpet treatment as before. I told him my particular situation, he took it back to finance, and I drove off with brand new car. Although we refused, he offered to buy us lunch as we waited,, and we talked about our families, and it felt like we were an extension of his family. When its time for another vehicle, as long as he's working there, we'll ask for Anthony every time. I highly recommend him if you are looking for a professional salesman. I say my marriage because I have a husband in service - Tom, I have a husband in finance - Lenny and my favorite husband the one in sales - David. Our family has referred and returned to the dealership because of the family relationship we have. When I come in for service or just a drop in to see David, many of the staff know me and always ask how is the family and my car? When I call to schedule service the individual that answers the phone knows me by my voice. Milt you are not forgotten, for you always have roses for me! I am a firm believer in hugs and that we need as many as possible to grow, I always count on my fair share from "my husbands" at the dealership. This group of gentleman and their co-workers are truly and extension of my family! By the way I was in for service of my Outlander Sport 2011 and the guys made a deal for me that did not cost me any out of pocket expenses, therefore I purchased a 2015 Outlander. More
