My 2018 Cadillac XT5 was at the Cadillac Dealership for 3 days replacing the Stabilitrak. A few weeks before that I had taken it in for the Stabilitrak repair but unfortunately they just fixed something else days replacing the Stabilitrak. A few weeks before that I had taken it in for the Stabilitrak repair but unfortunately they just fixed something else and that particular item was not repaired so it had to go back in a second time to repair that. I requested and was provided a loaner (I waited two weeks extra to get one). I called at the end of the first day and at the end of the second day while it was in the shop but communication from Cadillac was non existent. No one called me back. Finally Friday morning they called and said they were working on the repair. I also had a 12 inch spot above my driver door where the clear coat had just vanished and I asked if they could maybe wax that out when they were washing my car. Instead they sent it over to the body shop, which took extra time, for an estimate to paint the entire roof of my car that would cost me $2000. I said no to that and as it turns out they buffed it out for me for $35 and it looks great! I was finally able to go get my car around 5:00 pm on Friday (I took it in on Wednesday morning at 9:30 am) and when I pulled out my credit card to pay they informed me that Cadillac now has a 3% credit card fee on all credit card payments (my bill was $450). What???? I put everything on on my credit card and did not have anything else with me to pay for my repair, so I had to pay the 3%. Granted it's not that much but that doesn't sound like the Cadillac I'm familiar with. I also have to say Cadillac service is not what it used to be. I have driven a Cadillac for 12 years and have always been happy and felt pampered and made to feel special until now. I have loved my Cadillacs, and I put that I would recommend the service department but I would do that somewhat reluctantly after this latest visit to the service department. More

Jared is always my service advisor, he greeted me when I arrived for my schedule appointment, I only had an oil change and tire rotation, but I would trust him to help me make other service-related decision arrived for my schedule appointment, I only had an oil change and tire rotation, but I would trust him to help me make other service-related decisions. For a short appointment, I usually wait for service to be complete, however, I know if I need to leave it, they have a shuttle which is very helpful. James Wood service department offers a Military Discount for services, this is also important to me. More
