I recently had the worst car buying experience that I have ever encountered while shopping at Jacksonville Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram on Nurseryfields Drive. -Bait and switch using credit terms -Holding onto my car in service for 3 weeks without working on it, with the hopes I would trade in and purchase from them -Management level (Tony) down are all xxxxxxxx and will lie/cheat until you purchase My experience: I brought my 2014 Jeep in for service on July 2nd. The communication with their service department was very poor. I was called a week after dropping it off and was told that they do not know what the problem is with the vehicle, but they were going to continue to look into it. I have an unlimited mileage, unlimited year warranty through Mopar so it was worth waiting for. Finally on July 25th I was starting to consider using it as a trade in for a vehicle for my 16 year old son. Their website has hundreds of used cars to choose from (lie). I inquired about a couple of cars and got a call from Jacob in their sales department. Jacob immediately fell back on the tactic that I would owe so much money to get my car fixed. I was never told by Service what was going on with my car but Jacob immediately found out that it would cost me $4k to repair. I informed him that I had a warranty, he then tried telling me that I had too many miles, I then informed him that my warranty was unlimited mileage. I found a 2018 Lexus that would be a nice fit for my son. First I was told that with my down payment and trade in that I was looking at $580/month for 72 months. I declined and told Jacob I was going to shop around other stores to try to get more for my trade in as I wanted to be at $490 for a payment. Of course Jacob calls me 10 minutes later saying that he was at $490, I asked him how, he told me that they increased the amount for my trade in. Jacob then begged me to take delivery that night as the sales team had a contest and he needed it gone. Jacob came to my home and delivered the car at 9:30pm. I was signing the paperwork and when I questioned that my trade in seemed to be the same amount as before he told me that was not the case and an error on the paperwork. I continued to sign and gave him a ride home. I later then realized that this dealership extended my payment months to 76 without telling me (hence how they got my payment down), they did not increase the amount of my trade in. I called the dealership the next day and requested to speak with a manager. I spoke with Tony, he informed me that all sales were final but if I come in that he can work something out regarding possibly trading it in for a less expensive vehicle. Tony told me that he would be at the dealership all day the next day. I go to the dealership and ask for Tony, conveniently he is not working that day. I was given the option of getting my payments to 72 months but still have a $560/loan. I had saved a couple vehicles from their website that would work better and after showing those I was told that they do not have any of those cars as they were at other dealerships and unavailable to be swapped out. I was told to go outside and pick out one that they had on hand. They had 7 used cars on hand all of which would not work out for me. I regrettably had to go in and sign for the 72 months at $560. Stay far away from this dealership!! Tony and his staff are cheaters, liars and xxxxxxxx. I have bought many vehicles and this was by far the worst experience. I purchased a new Lexus a couple of weeks ago for myself at Fields Lexus in Orange Park and that experience was completely different from this one. They will probably respond trying to save face regarding this review. Do not fall for it! More

I ended up taking my Jeep to another dealership to find I had almost 2 pages of stored codes following the visit to JCJD where I was told there was nothing wrong with my vehicle. Needless to say, I will never return there and would encourage everyone else to avoid them at all cost. There is no concern or respect for their customers. More
Ridiculous service charges! We saw a part they got in for $1035, and they charged us $2300. We spent $4000 in the last few months that the car has been in their possession. Even more their communication is awful, rarely got a phone call back, so we had to constantly try and find out about the status of our car. Do not go there for service. They overcharge you for repairs. The car ran great but it was a concern.l Took the car back on Monday, June 13teenth and had 2 recalls done and requested to see why the engine light was on. The engine light was not blinking so it was not an emergency....but you like to be safe. We were advised the cost to fix this would be $2,569.65..WOW....UNBELIEVABLE!!!! The parts provided were Coolant....(2)...$49.90...Housing....$149.45..Labor $300.00...3 gaskets for $98.67....$197.96 to check on time, mileage and condition..Timing cover leaking oil. Replaced timing cover gasket, both valve cover gaskets and upper intake seals.... $1,614.71....did get a Military discount which was much appreciated. Also upon arriving home saw that the decorative woodgrain was pulled away so had to go back to the dealer to have it glued back on. Was told it was because of the hot weather....which this car has always been in the garage and no problems..but it was there for 5 days, I am sure in the sun. They glued it back on and the service manager said there was a problem with this on vehicles before and opened the back door and pushed on it and said...see this one is loose also. Well how correct as the next day I opened the back door and it came flying off. Then on the passengers side of the seat there was oil...I'm assuming when they glued the front one on and sat in the seat thats how the oil got there. We are really disappointed in this dealership..and I can truly say that the only person that provided us with a wealth of knowledge and is of value to that dealership in Jonathan Birstok. The Service Department....all I can say is stay away! More
Don’t trust in this guys , Jay the sales person and Wayne Fung sales manager . They are liars and as soon as they sell the car to you they disappear and they are unreliable people. Worst mistake of my life was to trust these people with my Ram truck. Took them 9 month to complete repairs and by truck is back there again because they screwed up on the repairs. Took my moms 2013 VW Tiguan in to this location across town. As we received a coupon in the mail for full synthetic oil change. I called ahead and they said that they had the filter. Around 2:45 the service adviser I talked to told me it would be about an hour and a half. I said just call me when it’s done. Around 4:30 still no call. And as they close at six we headed over. Arriving right before 5:00. They had not even got it in the bay yet. I was told they were still waiting on the oil filter. I’m like what? We sat there until they got the car in around 5:40. We were the last one they serviced today. I kept telling the service advisor to make sure they don’t rush anything. Do a good job. I even walked around to the other side and watched them rotate the tires to make sure everything was good. I was told they found no problems. I paid we went home. I noticed the car was leaking oil like a xxxx fountain. Pictures tell 1000 words. Obviously they rushed and didn’t tighten something down. We’re talking four technicians underneath my mothers vehicle. I have never been so angry in my life. This vehicle had no oil leaks. Prior to today. So now I have to go bye oil to put in the car. Just to take it back and have them do it right. Oil all over the bottom of the car. Big mess in my driveway. First time and it will be my last. Avoid this place at all cost. I hope that they fix the problem. And I hope that there was no damage to my mothers vehicle. They have no idea what an inconvenience this has been. And the mental strain it has put me under.
